My energy stopped working and no one will come to repair it I am unable to breathe and I have no oxygen and the inogen company couldn't care less they want to send me on a gofet I am in a lot of trouble and I have had no help my best option is to find a repair service if I could find a repair service I could have my machine looked at and make a intelligent decision I'm an invalid and I'm really at a loss of why this company would be have such bad customer service

Portable doesn’t seem to work well and is heavy

The Inogen portable oxygen was purchased with a lifetime guarantee. It is broke. Called customer service, they are wanting me to buy parts to repair it. Guess what, the part just happen to be on sell. Spoke to two people who will not honor my lifetime guarantee. The cost of this machine was double what I could have purchased other brands but we choose this one because of the guarantee. Sent a email to their office. Hopefully, someone will fix the problem.

The fact that I can rely on 10 plus hours of oxygen!

Light weight easier to use

In the last three months my G5 has stopped charging while we were away from home. The second time was a unit Inogen had just sent me due the failed one I had sent back. Thank goodness I purchased the lifetime warranty from a financial prospective, but not from a safety prospective. Inogen needs to do a better job fixing these machines so folks feel comfortable using them away from home. They’re a good company and can do better!

Need different tubing I'm allergic to the latex green tubing I have redness can't breathe smelling the latex please send me a different tubing non latex or I will need to go elsewhere please send new tubing asap thank you

So far all my interactions with Inogen have been great. Friendly, helpful, professional.

The machine works fine. The carrying case is the problem!!! Not enough air flow and the battery still gets hot!!!!!!! A redesign would greatly help.

When I was first diagnosed with COPD I resigned myself to hauling around a heavy tank. My friend had an Inogen that she’d gotten to use when she flew to see her kids. She doesn’t fly anymore so she gave me her Inogen and I just love the freedom it gives me to get around. I especially appreciate it when I go to the casino. 😉

I use the portable oxygen unit whenever walking outside. It is not as noisy as the unit before from a different company.
The inogen company so far as been great in providing extra tubes etc.
I am happy with the company.

I called more than two months ago to find out about one of their products for my mom. During that phone call, I said we weren't interested and please don't call or send anything. I have been getting two to four phone calls every single day for months. I have blocked the numbers over and over again only to have them roll the numbers and keep calling. I had to put a block on all numbers not in my phone book which is really a problem because some need to come through. Have listed about 15 of their numbers with the Do Not Call but still no relief. Hoping this will help.

While using tanks I was always worried about running out of oxygen. It happened a few times and was very scary. Gulping for air is not any fun. Now I have a portable Inogen unit and it's battery last a long time. On my trips to the doctor I use the power cord in the 12v outlet and it keeps my battery charged.

I'm extremely happy with my Inogen Rove 4. It's smaller and lighter than anything I've tried in the past. I can charge it in the car or at home and it came with a spare battery, which is ideal. It performs great and is everything I was promised. Very pleased!

The salesman was very patient and always courteous. He continued to be of assistance when there was difficulty with obtaining the needed documentation and throughout the purchasing process.

I'm NOT a "portable" Inogen user, but I am a long time sleep apnea sufferer who needed supplemental O2 combined with the use of my BiPap machine. Luckily I had the means to purchase my own Inogen "At Home" O2 concentrator rather than use some cheap, large, noisy, piece of crap, rental concentrator that Medicare was going to set me up with. NOTE: Medicare only pays part of the rental costs and they stop paying all together after 3 years. I did have to get a prescription and testing results from my Doctor for Inogen.

Inogen portable oxygen is not worth the money in the long run. Inogen customer service is sweet to you in the beginning but when the error codes come up on your unit after your warranty, just wait. They take you for every cent they can. You constantly need columns at $118 each/year or more. Then when the error symbol of low oxygen comes up, you can only get it fixed through them and you have to mail it to Texas at your own cost of $35.00 and the lowest repair cost for a 90-day warranty is $229.00, for one year it's over $400.00. If you’re handicapped and your husband works during the day, nobody else can call customer service for you, only the patient. They won’t even talk to you. It’s bizarre. I happen to have purchased a lemon and it’s been a nightmare dealing with them. Just a heads up.

The max battery allowed me to take part in the side trips on our two week back to back cruises. Seventeen days in the warm Caribbean and 13 islands with one dip. Had a great time and plenty of air.

Wish I had bought one 2 years ago, I love the compact size and weight. I also like the fact I can change the settings in the future.

I wish I could give them zero stars. I started with them when they were a brand new company and they were great. But someone else bought them out, and the last several years have been a nightmare. Calling Customer Service was at least an hour long ordeal. Their goal was to give the least service possible in my opinion. Luckily I didn’t need the oxygen anymore, and my doctor had to cancel with them. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.
