I have enjoyed the shifts I have picked up and the app is easy to navigate.

Working in a different department each day makes life more easy. Instawork should start sharing ratings you get from each and every place you work so you know where bad reviews come from…

The site keeps posting jobs that are already booked out. It seems that I get penalized for canceling even if I give 24 hours notice but the company can cancel my shift in under seven hours with no penalty or pay subsidy on my end which really messes up my money and ability to earn income.

I have to fight for pay if you do paid back up, you have to dispute it. You don’t get paid automatically. I’m missing pay from two shifts and again the paid backup screws you over every single time. The chat is not a person. It’s AI then it’s people from India, who have no idea what they’re doing and they don’t respond. They don’t solve your problems and on top of everything of course they do not pay.

It’s been good i like the flexibility in scheduling shifts and how everyone in the community is willing to help each other out . I am really glad i signed up for this. ..Thank you

Can’t clock in most days cause it says I am not at the location. They randomly tell me to clock out cause they didn’t actually need me then you can’t clock out cause it says you aren’t at the location.

It’s a great app to pick up quality shifts.

Great team good leadership and importantly good communication

Instawork tries hard to take care of the users of their app as well as the clients they serve which is a lot better then most of the apps out there.

Had a great time working with the team all good people, but dress code required needs to be adjusted business casual isn't for that environment. Jeans with no holes and shirts with no profanity. Would fit the best

The location services demand wastes the battery. The location is incorrect in Franklin, MA, so we need to go to the parking lot to check in.
It’s eerie not speaking with real people. Also, I can’t select the number of days I’d like to work when it’s all 20 days or nothing. What if I can to 16 of them?

Prior experience and knowledge

The location feature in the app is iffy. It malfunctioned for me on a 4 day assignment. This then caused me to be paid a week later than I would’ve because I had to wait for the partner’s approval.

Getting assistance from your CS terrible and typically frustrating. They close out tickets prematurely, causing multiple tickets to be submitted for a singular issue.

Working through the app is great. Dealing with the app and your infrastructure issues is terrible.

Having great team leads to lead the team.
