Fiona Macrae
After Fiona Macrae, Insurancewith’s founder, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, she found it almost impossible to get affordable travel insurance. Like anyone else, she was looking forward to a holiday, but sensibly-priced cover seemed out of reach.
Insurancewith was created to help people with all kinds of conditions – including cancer, mental health, epilepsy, and many disabilities – get the most suitable cover for your personal needs at a price to suit your budget.

My previous review stated that I was happy with service and price taking out my insurance but a company has to be judged by its handling of any claims. That’s now the problem. i took out my insurance on the 16th July and called on the 7th August to update on a minor medical change. I was informed that they didnt understand this condition and also informed that they had withdrawn cover for my initial cancer cover. I was not happy but requested a 100% refund of my premium paid. To date despite numerous emails and phone calls, including over and hour this morning, they have still not repaid premium. The problem is we are dealing with four companies here, Insurancewith, using a call centre in India, Albert & Eddie, TIF group and Collinson, If you want a cheap insurance policy it is easy to set up, if you want a company with professional and competent customer services at claim stage, I would look elsewhere.

The fact that they would insure me is great. However some of the answers were recorded incorrectly which had to be addressed and resulted in a refund! Deborah sorted everything as I couldn’t do it myself on line.
