Excellent experience with Inter Movers. Professional, careful, punctual, and efficient. They respected my belongings, finished on time and on budget. Highly recommend for a top-notch move.

They double-checked all the boxes before leaving, which made me feel confident nothing was left behind.

I hired Inter Movers LLC company to transport my household belongings from New York to Europe. They quoted me for 3 cubic meters and after collecting my belongings claimed the volume is double at 6 cubic meters. They refused me the opportunity to check since everything was already loaded. Upon arrival in Europe, I received my belongings which are precisely 3 cubic meters; I have photographic evidence, all European documentation including custom clearance confirming the volume was 3 and NOT 6 cubic meters. I have since contacted InterMovers LLC, who are refusing to take responsibility for the discrepancy or provide a refund. I have all the paperwork as well as photographic evidence. This is a company that will scam you, there are many negative reviews online with very similar experiences to mine. Avoid at any cost, you will end up paying double like me.

They packed, moved, and delivered everything in one day. Some boxes were a bit squished but nothing inside broken. Crew was nice and professional.

Continuous email bombardment after requests to refrain. Even after i rang them to request they stop. Vile people. No wonder they have such abysmal Yelp reviews.

These people are disgusting. Do not make the mistake of believing these other fake reviews.

I gave up and lost all my stuff. I’ve never written a bad review online in my life. It’s taken me months to write this, but I genuinely just don’t want any of you to go through the same thing. I got off lucky in a way because I wasn’t shipping my entire place from LA to South Africa. I just wanted a few furniture pieces I loved, plus clothes and boxes. Well, I lost all of it. I read the positive reviews here, ignored the negative ones, and I wish I hadn’t. Like many of the bad reviews, I was quoted $2,800, all my stuff was taken, and then I was hit with almost double the amount — $4,800 — and I was still in for port fees of around $2,000–$3,000 (which I realized when I came back to read the bad reviews after I’d already used this company).

Say I gave them the benefit of the doubt — which isn’t accurate, but let’s just say… I’m sorry, but you JUST CANNOT DO BUSINESS like this. You cannot quote someone one price, take their stuff, then double the quote and hold their belongings for ransom. You cannot do business in this order.

Firstly, I had someone on the inside tell me that my stuff wasn’t even the size they were quoting me extra for. Then I asked for my things back (I had a friend offering to keep them for me), and Michael quoted me another $2,750 just to get my stuff back. How does that make any sense when I was originally quoted $2,800 to get it all the way to South Africa? What kind of numbers are those?! When I asked, Michael said it had gone to port in LA and those were the fees. But it wasn’t — it was in the warehouse. I had inside intel and a photo to prove it. So he lied, as he will many times if you do business with him. Do you want to trust a liar with all your possessions?

I had no way to fight this or get my stuff back. So I just left it. I was asked to pay for storage, and then they said they’d dispose of my things. I didn’t have the additional money to store it, so I dug deep into some Buddhist principles and just let it all go in the name of protecting my peace. Again, in a way I was lucky because I had so little stuff, and I just thought: I can’t deal with this guy for the next four months and risk paying even more money.

As you can see from these other reviews, other people were not as lucky — he held their belongings ransom and they had no option but to pour more and more money into it. I made the decision to wipe my hands clean. Michael was rude from the start, to be honest. He was short and NOT understanding — and I’m a very nice person to people when doing biz. I had quite a few questions. I’m a young woman and it was my first time shipping things internationally, and when I sheepishly said, “Sorry for all the questions, I’ve never done this before and moving internationally is quite stressful,” he barked back, “Not really,” and shut me down. It was a red flag, and I wish I had listened to my gut then.

I’m pretty sure most of these reviews are fake — because you can actually do that on here. You can buy reviews. I suspect this because, back then, there were a bunch of bad reviews on the first page just before this happened to me, but I stupidly ignored them in favor of the good ones. When this all went down, I came back to this page and about 12 or so new “positive” reviews popped up over just two days — and they’re all vague, saying vague stuff. If you go back and look, they’re always scattered around the same date.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Even if, maybe — MAYBE — every now and then they do a good job (which I think is a lie, but let’s just say), I still wouldn’t roll the dice on working with a liar, an extortionist, and a bully. I had sentimental things I lost — not to mention the monetary value. Anyway, I still think I got off easy compared to the other horror stories on this page, but I came here because I genuinely want to speak up and protect you and others from this company and these people. Trust me please. I can’t wait to see what he replies with what pathetic excuse or lack of accountability.

Everything about the trip was great. My goods were carried safely thanks to the team's hard work, thoroughness and friendliness. I was unable to find a better service provider.

I wouldn’t wish our experience with Inter Movers LLC on anyone. From start to finish, it was a nightmare. The movers (3 men, one of them named Igor who was the worst one) were shockingly unprofessional, they smoked inside our home, broke several of our belongings on purpose which the security cameras caught and forced us to help them under threats. Worse, they shouted at us, intimidated us and a few times, their aggression felt like it might escalate into physical violence. They genuinely scared us in our own home.
What should have been a straightforward move stretched into an agonizing ordeal that took far too long, left most of our belongings damaged and cost an absurd amount of money. Inter Movers LLC doesn’t deserve to be in business. They’re not movers, they’re bullies who destroy trust, property and peace of mind. Hire them if you want your worst fears about moving to come true.

They “lost” on box with a lot of personal items. The insurance company they use is the worst. I filed a claim and it was approved 6 months ago. I haven’t received my money yet. They don’t care about your items.

Our original quote of $2700.00 for three cubic meters to New Zealand. That is the Intermovers portion.
That number is port to port only. By the time it landed in our driveway we have spent $10976.00 Read everything, you will get little help from Intermovers Ask for a door to door quote.

I have used this company for 2 international moves (US to Italy in 2019 and again US to Germany in Mar/Apr 2024) and one word is the epitome of this company: professional. Michael and Alex were very responsive from the moment I engaged them asking for a quote, until my goods were delivered in Germany. They diligently worked with me to determine and complete pickup of my goods with a lot of moving parts (I am currently out of the country so they ensured my friend in the US stayed abreast of changes). The moving company on this end contacted me asking for customs paperwork and I messaged Michael to assist, he did and everything cleared very quickly on this end. These guys are awesome! If I ever require another move (which may be in a few years), I will definitely be calling Inter-Movers again. Quick, efficient, communicative, and professional. I would give them 10-stars if I could! Most definitely recommend this company for your next move!

I now used them 3 times to move from the US to France it was every time a pleasant experience.

Don't use inter-movers. They have hidden charges that you only find out about when preparing to pick up items. I shipped a few small items after the death of both my parents and then found out that on top of the high fees already paid, I had to pay extra they had not warned me about if I wanted to collect my items. They were very misleading in their wording claiming door-to-door service which was not true. Their communication was also woefully inadequate. My shipment kept getting delayed and they never contacted me. I always had to contact them and then they would just send me a new date and little else. This has several times.

Michael is prompt / polite and provides very detailed responses to all your questions..........until the money is transferred to his account - after that you are in the "deep blue sea"



We moved from the US to London,UK. Our sea shipment was collected on March 31st 2022 and we received it in London on July 18th 2022.

Here are the issues with the shipment


1) On the day of pick up - we did not get any confirmation of the time of pick up. We kept calling all morning and were told that they CANNOT provide an estimate as the team is out on another pick up. Pick up team came around 3pm in the afternoon. Note that we were told at the time of booking that we will receive a call one day prior to pick up confirming the time of pick up



2) the pick up crew looked extremely overworked, and tired. They got done by around 10.30 in the night (!). My sympathies with the team but this was indeed extremely poor management on behalf of the company. We were held up for the entire day, had to leave the apt in the middle of the night with a baby. To make matters worse, the head of the pick up team entered in a verbal argument with my husband as my husband wanted to cross check the bill (which was about twice the initial estimate).



3) Michael had advised us that we can cross check the cubic feet / cft after the packing is done. We had cross confirmed that with the pick up crew before they started packing. After the packing was done they loaded everything in a jiffy. After unpacking in London we realised that they had packed entire chairs in boxes (rather than disassembling it - thereby increasing the cubic feet). Of course we could not cross check the cubic feet once it was loaded in the truck - we were told that it is not allowed as their insurance does not cover if there is any harm to my husband if he gets on the truck (!) - maybe true, but a convenient excuse in my view.



4) Once the goods were collected, we had to follow up for everything, status of shipment, estimated / expected delivery dates (which were changed
multiple times). Note that once goods are collected then Mr Michael is almost done with you - you then have to follow up with 2/3 different companies who are managing the clearing and delivery.



5) And of course the goods arrived DAMAGED - lamp glasses broken, some glass artefacts broken, corners of side tables and dressers damaged.

Horrendous service and a total no-go! unless you like bad service, being charged twice of estimate, delayed shipment and damaged goods!



p.s. This review took some time because we wanted to provide Michael the review he deserved. More so, we chose Michael simply because of good reviews and ratings on Trustpilot. We wanted to ensure that "future customers" can make a more informed decision!

Thank you for your prompt work and punctuality. Everything was at the highest level! I needed to move furniture, some equipment, and couple of other things that were important to me from the rented apartment. They called before hand, so that i could prepare myself, helped me to load all the stuff into their truck. They really cared about safety of my belongings. You can tell that the guys are real pros. Hired this company to move my step brother from Mexica to USA (CA). Very attentive staff. They explained the process did an itemized inventory , handled all the paperwork and the packing!

They were on time, the guys were friendly, organized and hard workers! They packed everything for us and wrapped everything really well.

When our stuff arrived they delivered and even helped us unpack and put the furniture where we needed it! Everything arrived in perfect condition! We highly recommend Inter Movers LLC! Keep it up!
