Wow, Wow... Inter Movers has transported my jewelry equipment to Hong Kong and back to Hong Kong international jewelry show. This is an annual event and this is the first time using Inter Movers. Again my reaction is Wow, Wow... such a professional service. Very knowledgeable staff and crew. Well recommended company.

Moved with Inter Movers to London in May. Crew was amazing, fast and efficient. Sales team was also very well informed about new U.K. Customs procedures. U.K. delivery team was very courteous and careful. Overall experience was great. Well recommended shipper. Thanks for everything.

Michael and his team were amazing in New York City. They were communicative and professional. They took all my belongings and got them ready to ship from New York to Perth, Australia.

Based off Michael's transit timeline of six to seven weeks (my belongings apparently left in mid March, however requested documents have not been supplied) I took an apartment in Australia. I was contacted by the shipping company that was going to handle the delivery this end and told expect the arrival of May 1st, a little behind schedule.

No problem.

May 1st arrived, no one had contacted me, so I called the company.
"Your stuff is still in Hong Kong, we think." Waited, waited and waited.

And still I wait. Three and a half months later. Having had to take a furnished apartment while waiting for my furniture to be delivered and paying rent on the unfurnished apartment.

Michael's response when he finally responded to my multiple emails, "it's like blaming your travel agent for a plane being late." Let me be clear. the shipment didn't arrive into Australia until 12 weeks after the quoted transit time. This wasn't a delay. He said he would try and contact the shipping line and see what they could do but none of it was his fault as he did his part of the job. As yet I still have not been provided with any response from the shipping company he was going to contact.

Here's the thing - I paid Inter Movers. I didn't pay anyone else nor did I know the name of any shipping company other than them. Apparently once they hand it over, it's no longer their problem, according to them. And I was handed over to a company with appalling reviews and a one star rating in Australia.

I have not been reimbursed any money, I paid five thousand dollars for the service which still has not happened. I have not been given an update. I have had to call the shipping company here to see when it's going to be delivered and they do not call back. I do all the chasing.

If nothing else, learn from me. Request information on who is handling the shipping on the destination end. Ask in writing what happens if the transit time is double what is quoted. Continuously ask for updates for where your goods are. ALL of this could have been avoided had there been communication along the way. I was never contacted by Inter-Movers or Hellas Europe to let me know that the goods were not only not in the destination, they were in Hong Kong. And the subsequent emails which amount to, "too bad, not my problem, nothing I can do," have only made a bad situation much worse. It's an amazing business to be in, no risk or responsibility and you keep all the money, the only risk is with the person shipping the goods.

It's been a phenomenally stressful and extremely expensive process. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone and I chose them based off their reviews and their initial outstanding service in New York. I will update the review if my goods are ever delivered.

UPDATE: After posting this review, I received an email from Michael thirty minutes later saying Prue, you are giving us a 1 star review after all I am trying to do for you? Are you kidding me? I might as we just stop doing everything to help you and let you handle everything by yourself from here on.

I responded was he threatening me to not complete a fully paid for service, door to door from NYC to Perth, Australia and asked for requested shipping documents he had said he would previously supply and his response:
"Have a pleasant day."

Unbelievable.

From NY to UK, Michael and his team were excellent! I was ripped off by a previous company who changed their pricing last minute and I had to find someone else to move my Brooklyn house contents into storage in New Jersey instead of shipping (beware doing business in NY - ethics can be in short supply, even from the most noble industries, this surprised me for such a great city and having lived all over the world, but it is easy to be short changed here). Several months later and ready to receive my 20ft container, I was hesitant to hire another shipping company for the export to England.
'Inter Movers LLC' quoted a great price, were able to get my stuff out last minute (within the 3 day next billing period for storage) and delivered within a month. Half my contents I had left unpacked - including heavy weight training equipment - but everything was wrapped brilliantly and coded on arrival with help from a great team in the UK that they have partnered with 'Movecorp Ltd'. They expedited the paperwork very efficiently and the delivery guys were very professional.
Don't hesitate to book this company!

This review is in my Grandmother's stead. We reached out to Inter Movers because we needed them to move my Grandmother's things to Jamaica. They were very responsive, supportive, and efficient. They kept her informed the entire way and they made sure to answer all her questions. If you are looking for a quality over quantity international shipping company, this is where you go. Simple as that. They are strictly professional and I haven't heard any complaints yet.

Moved me to Hong Kong from New York. Job was completed on time as promised. Estimated price was also met within $25. No damage at all. Well recommended.

I hired Inter Movers as my international movers in New York when I was given a five year assignment in Singapore. I did not need to bring much but regardless of the small shipment it was still an overseas shipment and required a lot of cutting through red tape. I had a grandfather clock and an art piece that I have. It was a gift from my mother. These pieces were crated a custom made wood box with all kinds of protection. In Singapore, their agent/partner Felix Relocations, also did a wonderful job delivering. When they opened a crate, my precious belonging were in exact same condition. I said WOW!!! Right there and then. Great job guys

I needed to move items from my family's property in Dublin to New York after we sold our home there. I wasn't sure how everything would work being that I could not be in both countries at once but I was pleasantly surprised by their services. Not only was it cost efficient but their customer service reps were very helpful with handling all of my concerns and questions. I received all of my goods with nothing lost, damaged, or broken which is a first for me with any move I've ever done. They offer a one of a kind service that is outstanding. I would definitely use their services again.

I'm always apprehensive about moving overseas as I've had bad experiences with other companies. Thank God I found Inter Movers. Everything went off without a hitch. The staff was courteous and they were very hard working. They took special care of my big screen TV and antique furniture and nothing was damaged or lost. Wish I had found these guys years ago

These movers did an excellent job with all the packing. They work great with care with all our possessions and everything was well perfected. Michael, our job foreman, understood what we needed and took great care in marking everything properly. All workers were careful and efficient.

Best for an international move. These guys are great! I'm so glad I hired them. It would have been such a long and painful move without them. I originally found them on “thumbtack.com” and all the reviews are pretty spot on. They were fast, professional and friendly. Not a thing was damaged or scratched. My HDTV that I was most concerned about in the move was handled with care and added and very secure in the truck. They were right on time and very quick in getting the truck loaded. I would definitely recommend Inter Movers to anyone who has too much stuff to move themselves. They are definitely pros!

The movers were hard working, friendly and professional. My wife was in the middle of a very stressful real estate transaction so having a smooth move was such a blessing. Our stuff came back to Italy in pristine condition. Thanks for making it a great experience!

This is then 2nd time we used Inter Movers LLC. In December we moved my mother's furniture to Poland. The crew arrived, compiled an inventory list and packed all jer furniture into special material to avoid damage. They also boxed her China and books into boxes. Over all service was amazingly fast. The crew was very nice and took instructions without hesitation.
My mother's things arrived today, she was very excited when she saw everything arrived in good order.
If you're moving to another country, call them and ask to speak to Michael. He is very knowledgeable and will help you with all your needs.

I recently moved from brooklyn new York, to Nairobi Kenya. And my experience was flat out flawless. The whole crew was not only well exprienced and knowledgeable but also very fast and efficient. Booking the move was practically no trouble at all. The sales associates were very pleasent as well. They gave me the best rates possible and the cheapest out of any moving providers that I have contacted. Overall experecience I would rate a 10/10 i strongly recommend this company for all your moving needs!

After reading the reviews about the company, I decided to have them move my household processions from Nevada, to the United Kingdom. Speaking with their agent, all the arrangements were made, and a moving date was set, then, I received a call asking to move up the day, which was not possible, in the end the original date came and went. Finally after waiting all day the movers from Las Vegas arrived, these guys were great after working all day, they, packed up our furniture without ever complaining.

Delivery date was quoted as Dec 5th 2014, we returned to the UK, and had our existing furniture removed a week before, the 5th, the new furniture arrived on the 14th of January, no one from Inter Movers ever called regarding our furniture, when I called it was the port strike, or something. In the end our furniture was shipped on the 14th of December arrived on the 24th. I don't believe this company really cares about their customers, an update via email, to us, could have been useful and the movers in the UK, Dolphin were just as bad, I could never get a straight answer from them. The packers in Vegas and delivery guys in the UK were excellent, but Inter Movers and Dolphin are terrible. Use someone else avoid the hassle.

Inter Movers is surely is one of the best moving companies for international moving services. I have moved many times in my life and used many movers. But during my most recent move, which was huge because I was moving to another country (USA - Poland) I used Inter Movers and I was amazed with their excellent service and very reasonable price! These guys did everything necessary to fulfill my requirements. The sales rep, estimator, customer service staff and the crew played their roles to the perfection. The way they managed to wrap, box and move all those crystal and glass ware and the very delicate antiques and the grand piano was something really special. I never expected a move without any delay, any damage, and any hidden cost but for the very first time in my life I got a picture perfect move. Thanks a lot guys.
