i selected 3 years while choosing the duration of the permit but after payment it says te license is only valid for one year. There must hav been some error in the site.

Its Not a real IDP and its not valid anywhere. Its only a translation, you still need a valid IDP issued from your own country. Google its validity before purchase to find out if its what you wanted.... Voir plus

I got my IDP while traveling in SEA and…
I got my IDP while traveling in SEA and Eastern Europ , for the couple times i have been stopped for papers check it worked , i just show my local Driving licence along with the IDP and i would be cleared in seconds

Phishing and Misrepresentation
This company markets its service in a misleading way.
I paid for what was presented as an International Driving Permit.
Only after payment did it become clear that the document is not government-issued
and does not grant legal driving rights.
The product is essentially a private translation of a driving licence,
which is not what is implied during checkout.
I would not have paid if this had been clearly disclosed upfront.
I am now pursuing a chargeback and reporting this business to consumer authorities.
