Simmer and Slice  Avis 302

I was really impressed with Simmer Eats’ service when it came to subscription, ordering, and delivery - everything was smooth and efficient. However, I was very disappointed by the complete lack of response to my emails after I tried to raise an issue about one of the meals.

Following recommendations from my son and several neighbours, I ordered 18 meals. Most were delicious and of excellent quality, but the Jerk Chicken meals were a major letdown. I ordered four portions based on the positive reviews, yet all four were inedible — the chicken was tough and grisly, the plantain was mushy, and the dish lacked seasoning and flavour. There were also no kidney beans, which was surprising.

Three others, including my son, tried the meals and agreed they were not up to standard. It’s disappointing, especially as the rest of the range was so good.

What’s most frustrating is that customer service hasn’t replied to my emails about this issue. I still think Simmer Eats has great potential and offers tasty, convenient meals, but ignoring customer feedback is really disheartening.

I hope they improve how they handle complaints - good service shouldn’t stop after delivery.

In light of above, would still expect a response to my emails please.

Found a good deal on a small Scanpan - which is a great little frying pan. My pan arrived well-packaged with a personal note from Hannah - which I thought was a lovely touch. Will defo order again from this company. Thanks guys.

I ordered a Scanpan steamer, which was offered at a very good price. It was delivered very quickly, and a friendly note included, hoping that I would enjoy using my new steamer...which I do! This is the second time I have ordered from Simmer and Slice and both times the service has been impeccable.
