Istanbul Hair Center Avis 

I went in February from Munich. I had consultations here first and the price difference was not small, but what actually made me book was that they answered a question nobody else would: what happens if the crown is still thin at twelve months. I got that in writing before I paid anything. FUE, 3,500 grafts, one day, three nights. The clinic name and the authorisation number were sent to me before I travelled and I checked them myself. Now at month ten. Front and temples are done, the crown is slower, which is what they had said would happen. Not everything was perfect. The transfer on the last day was late and I nearly missed my flight, and I would have liked the aftercare instructions in German rather than English. But the medical side was exactly what was described to me, and nobody oversold anything. Yes, I would do it again.

Super intelligent and elegant, clean surfaces doctors are super professional and understanding what they doing, definitely will come back if needed. Birnur definitely one of the best person to guide me through the process and eased my concerns about the procedure, definitely recommend her to everyone in future

UPDATE June 2026:

Two significant findings since my original review below:

1. The "doctor" I signed the contract with, Hüseyin Kaya, is publicly listed on Bookimed (the same medical tourism platform that promotes this clinic) as a dentist with 9 years of practice. He is not a hair transplant surgeon. He is presented across the clinic's marketing as "Dr. Hüseyin" or even "Professor Hüseyin", which obscures the underlying credential. This explains why he was not present on operation day.

2. Reading the negative reviews on Google carefully, the bait-and-switch pattern I experienced is documented across dozens of patients going back over a decade. Multiple reviewers describe the same scenario: meeting one doctor, surgery performed by women they had never seen, poor density 12 to 36 months later. Other reviewers also report inflated graft counts ("3500 promised, 2500 delivered", "5000 promised, 3000 delivered") and damaged donor areas. The clinic's response to severe complaints is a boilerplate accusation that the reviewer is "FAKE!" rather than engagement. The 5-star average is built largely on accounts with only one review on their entire profile, posted shortly after the operation when results temporarily look acceptable.

My experiencewith Istanbul Hair Center is mixed/negative. I'm going to list just the facts objectively: I have been promised 3500/4000 fue, on my forehead and crown. After the transplant I had no way to understand how much I actually got.
I first met a doctor in their studio, with a reassuring manners and knowledge, I quickly liked him and the team and decided chose this clinic.
On the day of the operation, surprisingly the doctor was not present, he wasn't the one who operated me. I got the transplant done by 2 young foreign ladies.
After 9 months, I believe I lack density, the main part I wanted to fix was the forehead and I'm not satisfied.
In the crown area, even worse, it seems as if nothing has been transplanted.
The clinic won't answer from their official email, the post operation customer service is carried on via whatsapp, clearly not by a doctor but a middle person who answers in a condescending way, telling me just to wait. After 6 months I asked a direct question " can you confirm I still have not reached the desired density? " and the customer service avoided a straight answer, they said: "The hair growth process is going according to plan. The density of the hair and the result is good" Well I'm not sure about it.
I showed my photos to other doctors and I have been told that the desired density has not been achieved.
What really made me choose Istanbul Hair Center was the professional manner of the doctor ( who did not operate me ) and the extremely competitive price, 1000€. So I'm giving 2 starts , because I cannot say I did not get results. However, if I knew that I was going to be operated by some random person and that I wouldn't have achieved the promised density, I wouldn't have chosen this clinic.
If over the next few months something magical will happen and I will get the planned density in my forehead and crown, I will happily amend this reference and add my humble personal apologies.
Oh about reviews, mine got suspiciously rejected by google, and watch out for the short generic ones made by users with just 1 reiview😉
