Really disappointed with my band

Really disappointed with my band. It has faded extremely after only 3 weeks of wear, changing colour completely from pale rose to off white.

I will never buy from these people…

I will never buy from these people again. The strap took 3 weeks to arrive, and does not fit my watch, but they will not replace it or repay me. I have tried five times to use their "Returns Portal", but could not get it to work. Now after multiple emails and 12 days they say that I do not meet their "return conditions" - but don't say how ! Great.
Following your reply, I have emailed you my order number.

Terrible - AVOID AT ALL COSTS…followed their size chart and…

Terrible…followed their size chart and the watch band was digging in to the point of cutting off my circulation. The band was not at all stretchy like my last one despite it being the same style. When I contacted them they said I must have ‘measured my wrist too tightly’ which wasn’t the case. When I provided photographs they said it looks like the measuring tape is cutting in but the measurement was within the size range by 4mm (a comfortable margin of error for one to measure their wrist whilst also taking a photo at the same time). Anyway istrap REFUSED to take accountability for the fault (have previously purchased the same watch strap in different colour but same size and they are visibly different lengths too.) Just save you pennies and shop with a company who values their customers enough to create an accurate size chart or own up to errors resulting from the inaccurate information they share with their customers.

Edit: have sent 2 emails to customer service this week requesting to swap the band (postage at my cost) and have not received a response, please reply before you refuse to swap the band because the 30 day time frame runs out.

Defective product and won’t honour warranty

This is quite simply a sham business providing substandard products who does not honour the stated warranty when the product in my situation simply fell apart on my wrist after less than three months of normal use. I was lucky not to lose my watch as a result.
When I explained the normal usage and detailed how the strap started to tear at the connection point to the watch and then over a few subsequent days it failed completely the standard response I received was “our Quality Assurance team has thoroughly assessed the product and confirmed that the issue is not attributable to a manufacturing defect.
Our testing involves multiple rigorous evaluations to ensure durability under normal usage conditions. The type of damage described, and observed during our assessment, suggests stress beyond the product’s design specifications.”

Using this rationale they will not honour any warranty claim for a manufacturing or design defect because they are asserting their product cannot fail unless subjected to abnormal stresses. They completely dismiss the facts of this situation whereby this strap fell apart on my wrist after less then three months of very normal wear.

Therefore they are not honouring their stated warranty because in no situation will they uphold a warranty claim.

RESPONSE TO ISTRAP

Thank you for proving that your warranty is worthless in your response. The photos are clear, the watch was worn for less than 3 months with very normal use and your so called “thorough review” merely involves looking at the photos and saying that couldn’t have happened with normal use. I assure you it did….. and that is why you should go out your warranty. It is there to protect consumers like me. And as for saying don’t hesitate to reach out… I have sent you four emails to no avail. You are not providing an after sales service and upholding your warranty. You are ignoring my rights to a refund. Other customers beware what you are dealing with here…….

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months. However, not all issues that may arise with a product are covered under warranty. For instance, it does not extend to issues that can arise from accidental damage, or usage beyond normal conditions.
Upon reviewing your case in significant detail and the images provided, this claim does not qualify for coverage under the warranty in this case as the issue that has arisen is not as a result of a manufacturing fault.

Plum Sport Band for Apple Watch - No Show!

I ordered a Plum Sport Band for an Apple Watch on 30th Dec 24 and paid extra for express 'next day' delivery. So far I have not received it. I have contacted iStrap 2 times asking them to confirm when it will arrive and heard nothing back? Beginning to think this was a waste of time. In the past I have ordered watch bands form Ozstraps with great turnaround delivery times of 2-3 days. Not good enough iStrap. Very disappointed.

Terrible customer service

My experience with iSTRAP has been awful. I suppose if you don't need to deal with customer support you may be fine, but beware if you do.

I purchased a braided solo loop band from them. I measured my wrist multiple times using their guide and purchased a size down, but the band was still too big, so I initiated a return. I had to pay return shipping and $10 for a new band to be sent out - even though I stand by my measurements.
At this point It's worth mentioning that they don't offer refunds like pretty much every other ecommerce store today, so if you aren't happy with the band you'll be paying for return shipping + $10 for a replacement band, or you can get a store credit, but the store credit won't cover shipping.

When I received a replacement band the next size down, one side of the strap wouldn't slide onto the watch, because the button on the strap doesn't press inwards.
I tried to initiate a return of the faulty strap, but their website wouldn't let me, because with the delays in sending the replacement strap, I was no longer within the return window.

At this point I had to contact customer support. One thing worth adding is you need to be quite crafty to get through to a real person. They use bots to reply to messaging and e-mail, so you need to trick the bot into letting you speak to a person. Once I got through to their CS team, they told me they need to speak with another team to resolve the issue with their return portal. They also asked for a video demonstrating the issue which I felt was a bit awkward to record and seemed like further waste of my time, but I provided, nevertheless.

After waiting a couple of days, I was told I could now initiate the return from the portal and my ticket was marked as resolved, but when I tried initiating the return, I got a different error still saying the item isn't returnable.

I finally got a response from customer service after about 1.5 weeks refusing the return and saying the item wasn’t faulty because I needed to press the button on the strap while sliding it into the watch. I’ve never had this problem with genuine apple straps and I’m certain if I did, Apple would replace it without argument.
In the end I needed to use some force with a flat head screwdriver to force the button inwards and now it slides on with less effort.

For the price point of these bands I would say just go with Apple.

blue flame sports band

Purchased a blue flame sports band for my Ultra One. Watch was ordered on Christmas Day and arrived four days later despite the holiday break. Very impressed with both fit and quality of band and it compares very well with the Apple bands. Very happy customer!!

I would have given iStrap a 1-star for…

I would have given iStrap a 1-star for my last experience but I have had good experiences in the past.

With my most recent experience, I purchased a new strap and case protector. I received both the new strap and case protector in good order and time. Both were marked 42mm on the packaging, which is correct. But when I removed it from the packaging, it clearly was a smaller size.

I fitted it to my partner’s 38mm watch and it fitted ok.

On 5/1/25 I sent iStrap an email with photos that showed the difference in size. Today is 11/1/25 and I have had no response. I understand it is holidays but I would have expected a response within 2-3 business days. Simply unacceptable.
