ITHIRE.COM is an absolute nightmare. Their freelancers are untrustworthy and unreliable. I engaged one freelancer named Lars (likely a pseudonym), who not only failed to complete half of the project but also overcharged me significantly beyond the initial estimate. The work delivered was utterly useless, and I had no choice but to discard it. However, the worst part came later: out of the blue, they charged my credit card hundreds of dollars without authorization. I’m currently struggling to recover the stolen funds.

Like so many others, I didn't order anything but had interactions with a designer. A couple of months later US$900 was stolen from my PayPal account. ITHIRE attempted to make it a weekly deduction however, luckily I saw this and cancelled it. I emailed the site on numerous occasions about what happened with no response. Can not be contacted. THIS SITE IS A SCAM. STAY AWAY
****Since posting this review, the company has now contacted me and refunded the amount it withdrew from my account without authorisation which I greatly appreciate. It does not excuse their actions and the time, stress and cost to get the money back that was stolen.

They pretend they work on a new website, copy content of the current one, make a video without sending physicial files and then continue charging your card without being able to cancel the project.

The worst experience.

This platform charged me twice out of no where for work that was not done for me - both of these were 4 figure charges that put a lot of difficulty on my finances. the customer support did not really apologize nor did they respond to my demands to permanently delete my details.

We did some work back in Ocotober 2023 that ended then and the project was closed.

The company then reactivated payments on the night of 24/Dec/2023 (yes, just before Christmas) and charged us $3300 on 25/Dec/2023 with no reason, as there was no more work done.

This looks like a very intentional scam and we were lucky to spot this on PayPal and hopefully, they will cancel this transaction.

After we contacted PayPal and IThire, the latter promptly responded and refunded the money. This locked the funds for 2 weeks. However, the whole situation regarding timing is at least "unfortunate". Also, it is crucial, that when a company has the capability to charge your account as they wish, no mistakes are made. For some smaller businesses reducing their funds by so much could affect their operations! We will not use IThire in the future and we cannot recommend this service.
Initially, it was 1 star, I made it 2 stars because they responded quickly to the issue.

It’s a scam platform. I hired a developer but was a really bad experience since she didn’t deliver anything for weeks so I canceled the project. Then months later IThire tried to charge my card 2 times, with 1200$ then 200$, out of nowhere. Fortunately I had no money on the card that I had on file. I reached out to customer service to ask to remove my card but without any success, they completely ignored me. Now I don’t feel safe using that card anymore so I had to block it and order a new one. Total scammers and it’s outrageous that they dare to conduct business this way…

Their customer support is subpar. I strongly advise against using this platform. They send emails about charges on Friday after hours, which often go unnoticed for a couple of days due to the weekend. My attempts to contact their customer support team through live chat proved unfruitful as the chat remained unresponsive for over an hour with no reply. While I cannot generalize about all freelancers, my experience unfortunately turned out to be a waste of time. If you can, I strongly recommend avoiding this platform to save yourself the hassle.
Update: A customer service representative contacted me via email. I'm unsure why they have a live chat box if they're not able to address and resolve issues promptly. Unfortunately, my problem wasn't fixed at all. It seems that this platform may not thoroughly verify the real identity of freelancers. The freelancer I dealt with, KARA OMER, turned out to be a scam. Even though that might not be her real name, it raises concerns about the potential presence of multiple accounts like this. I advise people to exercise caution and be careful when dealing with freelancers on this platform.

The freelancer I got was really bad and now about 6 months later they tried to book money from my account. Never again!

Got asked by a freelance developer to hire them through this site after an initial conversation. Not thinking much of it I agreed. Firstly the developer was not a developer by any means and had absolutely no idea how to solve the issue on the site so I cancelled the contract (my basic knowledge of coding working as a digital marketer far surpassed hers). Secondly they charged over $1000 weeks later for no apparent reason? We got the money back thankfully but others please NEVER use this company.
