Really enjoying your fantastic facilities. Everything is so easy to use and every time I go you can use all equipment you want-no waiting (as you have so many of each machine).

Well equipped but not beginner or anxious friendly
The gym itself is well equipped with plenty of machines and space. However, the staff were extremely unhelpful and robotic. I tried to enquire about personal training but the person I spoke to wasn't interested and wasn't helpful. I asked if there was a page to look up the personal trainers and there availability but was told there wasn't, I would just have to approach them. I asked if any of them had specialities as I have an injury and am disabled, but again wasn't given any helpful information. The main room you walk into is very loud and intense, as a neurodiverse person I really struggled, but the freeweight room at the back was a lot brighter and quieter. I'm anxious about returning but the people using the gym we nice and welcoming, shame about the staff.

Surprised by bait and switch offers
Surprised by bait and switch offers. Sign up for membership showed "Sign up for one month" prominently. And that there are no contracts or "surprises". Once you try to cancel, you find out that they take 30 days to process the cancelation in order to charge you another month.

Thank you for your feedback. There is no intention of surprise within our memberships. Everything is explained in the terms of the membership before you agree to joining.
To cancel your membership, you simply visit the website and raise a cancellation ticket. I have included the link below:

Work to do!!
Excellent equipment, except:
- The safety hook on the seated calf
raise is slightly too high, so it
becomes ‘dangerous’ when
attempting to put the weight back,
after a heavy set
- The seated bench press machine is
exactly the same as in Pure Gym, which I hated, due to the fact that the
stretch it provides isn’t that great.
This should be improved by any obtaining other chest press machine, than the on stated.
My opinion will probably be ignored, but hey, it’s my opinion.

Great Gym
I just joined this gym and so far it is very nice, clean, and a comfortable environment to be in. Good equipment and plenty to use.

I re-joined the gym as I have moved…
I re-joined the gym as I have moved back into the area.
I love the gym and it has all the equipment I need, I was however disappointed to note that there were as usual lots of pins? Missing from numerous machines meaning I was unable to change the weight capacity to lift.
Hopefully these will be replaced by the time I visit next

less equipments
Fishponds JD Gym has only one machine for an upper thigh workout and only one for the upper back thigh (I think its name is Hamstring). There should be at least 2 machines for each. Because the person who is doing a workout on these machines stays on the machine even if he/she is taking a break between two sets of exercise.

Great gym
Great classes with really nice teachers. The facilities were really good. Toilets were always clean.
