Fantastic place
I’ve been a member of this gym since December 2024 and tbh this gym is a clean, well presented gym.. everything has its own place and everyone respects putting things back!! Compared to other jd gyms I’ve visited recently this is by far the best one.. did I mention that the team down at this gym are super nice and super helpful. Any question you have they are happy to answer and give more than an answer.. even the members in this space are happy to answer questions, as a member that’s new too this I feel super confident in this space the atmosphere is always pleasant!
If the team are reading this thank you for what you do to keep this space absolutely safe, peaceful and welcoming!

Great gym with decent equipment
Great gym with decent equipment, very helpful staff and a special mention to Charlie who helped me with an exercise.
Would certainly recommend this gym.

Great gym, friendly staff
Been going to JD for quite a while now, great gym, clean and tidy and amazing staff especially Paul, Charlie and Chloe who always make me feel so welcome and always give me tips and tricks to help me with my training.
Only thing that I wish the gym had was more rope attachments for the cables as you’re always looking for the 2 they have which when busy isn’t ideal and a hyperextension bench!

5 star experience
I have been a member for quite some time and I can say that this is an excellent gym. It’s tidy and all staff are welcoming. Paul Kassim is a great instructor and has helped me through a journey of weight loss with his challenging but fun classes and PT sessions.

Paul Kassim spin class is amazing’ so so challenging but fun. Paul is great would highly recommend to anybody!

High quality gym
I visited the gym today to try it out as an alternative to my current gym. I met Paul, assistant manager at the gym, who shower me around and was really helpful.
The quality of the equipment is great. There are some machines I haven't seen elsewhere, like the belt squat.
There is a dedicated Olympic weightlifting area which is exceptionally equipped.
I was very impressed by my visit and I will be switching to JD.

Well run gym, Chesterfield.
I have been a member of the gym in Chesterfield since it opened. It is a well run, clean gym. The staff are helpful and well knowledge. Johnston Swallow is a great manager and keeps a tight rein on things. I have recently had a stroke and, have been given advice on how to train safely. This advice was free. Keep this high standard up.

Before I joined I have been told it will be 10 pound for the fist month. On the joining day they told the offer is finished. After I joined in 2 days they put the old offer. A lot of machines broken and every time I asked when it will get repaired they keep saying very soon. People who work there are brilliant but still feeling I have been scammed
