JD Gyms - Preston Avis 

Joined as it's advertised as a 24hr gym but hidden in the small print is that changing rooms / showers are 24hr

I wish this was more upfront and honest as I'm now cancelling

Excellent all round. The only thing that I think would improve the gym would be a couple of hooks on the inside of the doors of the shower cubicles in the gents changing rooms.

Really lovey staff and a very broad range of machines

Joined the gym however due to emergencies needed to cancel which I did roughly 18 days before my next bit. However when I emailed them, they did nothing and kept telling me we will cancel after the next direct debit even though I told them I didn't need the gym and they have now taken another direct debit. Absolutely poor customer service! Horrific!

Its clean and bright but really crowded and no space to self workout. Couldnt find any floor mats and normal equipment you would see at any other gym and yes the lack of space. Machine are good and big area which you feel good

Enrolment was easy taking advantage of the intro deal - decent range of equipment and helpful staff. Good spacious area. You can lock your bike outside and good showers / changing facilities. Padlock required for lockers. Clean as well. I like the idea of no contract and the monthly rate is competitive.

The gym is well set out and has a good amount of equipment available to use. The changing room facilities are very spacious and well equipped, but most importantly for me, there seems to be a good range in the ages of the members and their abilities so as a 70 year old I do not feel out of place.

Easy sign up, good selection of equipment and opens early in morning

The gym is good but the music is too loud and a lot of the machines feel like they’re made for a man’s body as they’re really long & hard to manipulate so I can use them comfortably

It seems a pleasant gym with friendly members and professional staff.

Only just joined and everything going very well. Really loving the classes

Atmosphere was good and fully enjoyed being able to work on the treadmill before I return back to road running!

Very clean and tidy. Good opening hours. Good amount of classes. Not too busy at peak times, always manage to get my workout done with minimal waiting for machines.

Overall, Great gym, very spacious. Good classes and fab induction! The changing room would be beneficial with a swimming costume drain/spinner. Shower could do with being hotter. Would be nicer if there was a steam room as well as sauna.

I have only just joined but I am enjoying it, the gym is one of the best ones I have been to in the area. I like that there is an open space and everyone also seems friendly.
