Jemca Toyota Edgware Road Avis 

I want to share my experience with Jemca Edgware to help others who might be dealing with confusing quotes or unresolved issues.

I bought an approved used RAV4, and when the alarm started going off nightly a couple of months later, I booked it into Jemca Toyota (Edgware Road). They kept my vehicle for a week and a half. Despite their diagnostics showing "no faults," they acknowledged the alarm issue but quoted up to £1,000 for a repair, stating it might not be covered under warranty. Throughout this time, communication was incredibly poor, and I had to constantly chase them for updates.

Frustrated, I took the car to Currie Motors Twickenham. They quickly diagnosed a faulty intrusion sensor, provided detailed reports, fixed the issue within a single day, and covered it entirely under the Toyota warranty.

Following this, I raised a formal complaint with Jemca using the email address they provide in these review replies. Unfortunately, after an initial automated acknowledgement, there was no meaningful follow-up. When I finally forced a response after constant chasing, I was simply sent a copy-paste of what the service centre had already told me. No one actually investigated or addressed the breakdown in service.

While Currie Motors is much farther away for me, the contrast in professionalism is night and day. I will be taking my business there exclusively going forward, as my experience with Jemca Edgware has been a complete waste of time.

Incompetent and unprofessional.
Despite several attempts to resolve this issue which has been dragging on for over 6 months now.
I've been left to pick up the pieces after a £3156.00 repair bill.

Brought my van in for a recall October 2025 and asked the service manager to do a full vehicle check.
I was sent a list of repairs of £3156.00 and told that my van would be back in Tip Top shape.
On the 13 November 2025.
Collected my van.
Next morning the heater matrix erupted.
This is one of the parts which has just replaced.
This was confirmed by the AA on arrival.
The AA recovered tne vehicle and brought it straight back to Jemca Toyota.
After further diagnosis
Jemca Technician has also confirmed that the leak from the heater matrix has damaged the engine to the extent that it needs to be replaced.
Yet despite several attempts to get the issue sorted
My van has been stuck at Jemca Toyota garage for over 6 months.
I've now lost my source of earnings

Excellent experience at Toyota Edgware Road Service Centre from start to finish. Debbie at reception was incredibly welcoming, professional and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

Debbie and Michael so far very good service

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received. I have been waiting for over two months for a simple replacement of the reverse light bulb, which was already paid for during a service appointment in February.
Despite multiple phone calls regarding this matter, I have not received any resolution. Each time I speak with Dino, I am assured that I will receive a call back “tomorrow” or “later,” yet no follow-up has ever taken place.
I find it unacceptable that such a minor issue remains unresolved after several months. This reflects poorly on the level of customer service provided.

Was served by Debbie this morning and afternoon, she remembered my car and me helped me and guided me towards my advisor I’m very happy with the customer service today and the staff

Excellent customer services and very welcoming in the Colindale branch

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Debbie who greeted us as highly valued customers. She presents herself exceedingly well, has a delightful personality and works hard to build an excellent rapport with her clientele.
Dino was very efficient and competently talked us through the new service plan and happily made adjustments to suit our requirements. He was very friendly, articulate and knowledgeable. A very positive experience today thank you

Very good customer service. Helpful even we were half an hour late they accepted us and had servicing done on time. The edgware service center is best always best service.

JEMCA service has been great looking after my car. Debbie always gives a friendly welcome to everyone, and the car is always well looked after with helpful advice. Won't take my car anywhere else, not even for an mot.

Debbie at Edgware service and Dino at Edgware service gave me an outstanding service.

Very poor Service. I gave my car in for service and Mot before 10 am and booked the service 3 weeks in advance. It took them 28 hours to return the car. Within 3 days of return my battery failed. The AA confirmed it was the battery. Jemca claimed they tested the battery and battery was good.
It was suggested that I make another appointment to replace the battery and pay for new battery and fitting.
I would not have had to pay more money for the fitting, If they really tested the battery.
I lost trust in this company.
