THIS IS ONE MORE SUBSCRIPTION TRAP
I looked at Jersey online for personal reasons and subscribed to the JEP . The first month is £1 and £10 per month thereafter for digital access
Again for reasons which are totally my business I decided to cancel my subscription after a few days
THERE IS NO OPTION TO CANCEL ON THE WEBSITE
Every other thing you would need to do has a well invested link but surprise surprise NOT the cancellation option . Do web designers think the public are stupid?
So I was forced to waste my valuable time writing an email . I asked for confirmation . What did I get back?
An ANONYMOUS unsigned reply stating that they could only cancel if I give a reason!!!
I DO NOT NEED A REASON TO STOP PAYING FOR A NEWS SERVICE
More valuable time that I will never get back
This is a game of cat-and-mouse where smart Alecs behind a wall of anonymity play games with people's time and money
I won't be going to Jersey anytime soon and as for the Jersey Evening Post .. DON'T SUBSCRIBE . THERE IS NO ESCAPE!!

Update : the matter was escalated to someone who did give their name and did confirm cancellation the same day and they went on to explain and confirm that they will improve the handling of cancellations though I suspect that they will not let people go unless they give a reason . this forces people to tell lies which is helping nobody so I am staying at ONE STAR until I hear or see otherwise
