Simon and Scott were friendly and polite. They dealt with the fact that my headboard wouldn’t get upstairs calmly and proposed a solution when it became obvious that it just wasn’t going to fit! They contacted head office to arrange the fix for me.

Dependable company providing excellent service. Very polite efficient delivery personnel. Everything from ordering item, to speaking on phone to office staff, to receiving delivery - excellent!

Our first visit to the store and everything went well and excellent selection of Furniture, Friendly Staff and excellent restaurant choice of foods and Drinks and comfort.

My favourite furniture and carpet store in Norfolk is John Doe. Their products are exceptional and assistants first class. Earlier this month I visited the store in Diss to purchase a table and chairs. We were assisted by Matt Burley. As the items we selected were not in the store or in the catalogue, Matt went to considerable lengths to find suitable items from Ireland. We were impressed by his ability and determination to get our items. A credit to his firm.

Scott and Simon were amazing when delivering and assembling a new bed from John Doe. Firstly they accommodated collection of the old bed on their van even though the markings on the paperwork had not clearly stated. Then they returned very quickly to assist with a defect in the bed drawers. Gold stars for Scott and Simon and we hope to hear from John Doe on the bed drawers soon.

We contacted John Doe to enquire about a mattress comfort exchange. Although we hadn’t been made explicitly aware at the time of purchase of any exchange policy or deadline, when I contacted them to ask if we could swap the firmness of our mattress, they honoured the exchange despite it being slightly past their usual deadline. This is precisely the reason we shop with John Doe because they put their customers first. Very much appreciated and thank you very much.

Simon & Scott delivered my items of furniture this morning, a great service, they were professional and polite. They put the furniture where I wanted it, put the bed together and took away all the packaging.

We had Mark and Simone handle our carpet fittings, and they were fantastic. We were already living in our rented apartment with a lot of furniture, but they were incredibly swift, professional, and completed the entire job in just a few hours. Highly recommended!

Great experience. There was good communication throughout, everyone was keen to support us. We had the delivery today and Scott and Simon were great. They were very careful when unpacking and assembling our sofas. They explained important aspects that we needed to know. Friendly and polite throughout. Would highly recommend.

Louis and George came to our house this morning in Fressingfield to lay a carpet in our main bedroom. Although I was out at the time, my husband said they were lovely guys and he had a nice chat with them. The carpet looks great and no scuffs at all on any skirtings etc. Thank you so much! I have just had a sitting room carpet fitted by Louis and George and I am very pleased with the service.. The fitters were polite, quick and the carpet looks great. We will definitely be using John Does carpets for the rest of the house.

Recently had 2 polite, hard-working gents, Mark & George, fit a living room carpet for me. They also moved a small amount of furniture with ease. So pleased with service & the lovely job they've done.

I needed a new bed, but didn't know much beyond that. In the showroom in Diss there was an extensive selection, but fortunately there was a friendly salesperson on hand to talk me through the various types of mattress and to let me try them out. On the delivery day Simon and Scott phoned me beforehand, were very efficient in setting the bed up and very respectful of my home.
