If you need payroll, you need Homebase. EXCELLENT customer service and their chat/help bot is THE BEST I have ever used. Somuch better than our previous company. So glad we switched!

I signed up yesterday

I signed up yesterday, paid our annual plan $ and am the Account Owner. I sign in and it is only allowing me in as a user not as the Account Owner. I AM NOT able to set up my account!!
AND YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT HELPFUL. NO, Live Chat available and I can't talk to a customer service rep.

You want to go with Homebase, even if you don’t know it yet, trust me!

If you need payroll, you need Homebase. EXCELLENT customer service and their chat/help bot is THE BEST I have ever used. Somuch better than our previous company. So glad we switched!

Customer support SUCK really bad

Customer support SUCK really bad. They don't answer emails for weeks and can never resolve issues. If you want something with good customer service use ADP.

Great support team

Homebase support team is fast and knowledgeable. Both the chatbox and live support were excellent.

Used to be great. Not a fan of new AI features.

I have always found Homebase easy enough to use. I have a large staff and has suited my needs thus far.

That being said, I do not care for the new AI features they've installed for the hiring feature. They do not even give you the option to turn off the screener questions.

The first week, I had the AI screener dismiss a qualified employee and schedule an interview for me when I was not available. I had to go in and manually change the settings. The AI screener is not even effective!!! The "qualified" candidates were worse than the applicants from the rejected pile. Seems like an unnecessary step to implement AI into every aspect of our life.

Amber is amazing

Amber Is amazing! I didn't realize that Friday was a banking holiday and our normal deadline for payroll direct deposit is Wednesdays. But, with a banking holiday being on Friday, that I hadn't realized, the deadline was Tuesday evening and it had already passed. Amber SAVED the day by giving us a ONE TIME one day processing to ensure our client's payroll checks were received in advance of the Holiday.

The agent called back right away which…

The agent called back right away which was a plus to get a live person on the phone he took the time to research my problem and stayed working with it until he fixed it the one suggestion is there should be a place on there where you can remove previous employers or profiles that was the problem I had there was no place on the app to show me that I had a couple profiles that was making it impossible to join the one I'm working for now but the agent was very helpful and fix the problem in a timely manner

The Homebase representative called me back immediately and was able to fix my issue with the our billing. He was very professional and understanding as well.

Be More Direct And Honest

I’m not happy I was charged for the plan on the first day when it said I would have a 14 day trial. There needs to be a more clear explanation of when you will be charged when choosing a plan. This was misleading and lead to a failure hardship for me.

We had a delay on the amendment due to…

We had a delay on the amendment due to the CC expiring, and there was no grace period, so we were downgraded ASAP without letting us do much. We have been clients for so long, so it was disappointing.

When a credit card expires, there is a 9-day grace period with multiple attempts to resolve the payment issue before an account is downgraded to Basic. It just took alot of time

It just took alot of time. And communication was disjointed as we were trying to work together to get everything together.

No fault of the person on the phone.
