JPW Academy Avis

My experience with JPW academy was great. The staff are really supportive and the professionalism of the teachers impeccable. My daughter which she is un year 10 grew her level of confidence and knowledge due to following the English and Science programme.

My son is really enjoying the lessons and has made significant progress, improving his mock exam results from a 4 to a 7! His English teacher is thrilled with his improvement. He even asked me to book another three months of JPW, which is unusual for him as he’s not the type to request extra lessons. It’s clear he’s noticing the difference!

Am glad I found this tutor group it did wonders to my daughter ,her confidence is so high now ,compliments from her school teachers are amazing ,her school mock results are very very good example english predicted is a 7 while before she was on 4 .Kyla now is on top set in all her subjects english set 1, science set 1 and math set1 .All I can say is thank you.

We have now completed a summer course and full term of English . I am so happy and impressed with the team and the tutor and ladies marking. I’ve used many tutors but your system is beyond compare. Just started maths too this term and no doubt once she can start science I will add that in too. Credit where credit due. Well done and thank you to all. ( plus a huge jump in school grades!)

My son joined at the start of this year after getting only a 5 in his year 10 English mock last Summer. With Saffron’s and the rest of the team’s help, he just received a high 7 in his most recent mock and is on track for an 8 this Summer!! I thought even a 6 would be good after last year but with JPW’s guidance it looks like he’s gone a few steps further! Fingers crossed for this Summer.

Paid £300 for this tutoring scheme. They claimed that they would have efficient personal WhatsApp feedback and would respond relatively quickly, however, my daughter sent the tutor questions on science on Friday and it has been 5 days and no reply whatsoever since. Utterly ridiculous, and this is one of the many things my daughter asked on WhatsApp which they claimed would answer would detail. In English, the teacher would spend the first half of the lesson explaining the exact same thing for all of the lessons in a week, leaving only one half or less of the lesson for other things. In Science, the teacher wend through past papers and most of them are repeated and only one markers which was not helpful at all. Wish that what they claimed was true but it wasn’t, so don’t WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, it’s not worth it!! And I would like a refund too!!

They go over skills that teachers don’t normally teach at school, such as summarising

JPW tutors have great personal support, unlike many other tutor programs. They offer great, in-depth individual feedback, helping me improve my English at a fast pace. The cost is fair and they often give offers for loyal members. Lessons are frequent and online, making it quick and easy to access the lesson. I would definitely recommend it to anyone studying GCSE English literature and language.

I really enjoyed my time with JPW Academy. It helped me a lot with my GCSE revision.Well organised and will recommend to others.

JPW Academy has awesome feedback skills and great resources to use. Homework feedback is given very quickly and is extremely detailed and clear which is helpful since it is assists students when completing future homework tasks. Also, in the lessons there are useful mind maps and example paragraphs which are great guides to frame your own paragraphs. Overall I would really recommend these sessions since I have began to see improvement just from a few lessons.

The pattern of teaching with slides and making concept clear to the students is very nicely defined. Also the personalise touch to homework and making the errors clear is well appreciated.

Saffron is very helpful ,friendly and professional. She always spends time after the lesson to give everyone feedback. She is patient and she goes into depth when you done understand

Very helpful for my child, the tutors interact well with students, provide great content and feedback. Would recommend to any parent to give this a try.

I would like to thank Jacob and his team for all their help and support for my son, during his GCSE preparation.

His mock tests results for English language and literature was 5 in February and in a panic we then came across JPW Academy online, for help and support in English, we felt that this was worth pursuing because the exams were not far off.

From the moment my son started with thd learning packages, My son felt the teaching material made more sense for him and slowly things started to click into place for him via feedback from Jacobs and his team.

Results Day - 9 for both English literature and language and further 9s and 8s for the rest of his subjects.

The packages are worth the investment, they have paid off and my son's confidence in English and especially English Literature has grown.

Thank you very much

Very dedicated team of tutors with an opportunity for the child to do multiple assignments . Each time a video based feedback is given which allowed my child to not only gain confidence but an opportunity to improve tremendously. Thanks to JPW, my daughter got a 9 in her English literature and 8 in English Language. Really appreciate it and highly recommended

My daughter has been taking English excellence sessions for GCSE at JPW since a year. The tutors are highly experienced and I like the way they make each session interactive. It has boosted my daughter’s confidence in writing. Each week she gets a piece of homework that is not just marked but also critiqued by the tutor. This gives my child an opportunity to reflect on her work and make it better each time. I feel that she is being supported extremely well with their tutoring for her GCSEs. Would highly recommend JPW!

Before I enrolled my son in JPW Tutors, he was far behind in progressing towards the grade he wanted. He would frequently inform me that he felt unconfident participating in English lessons and similarly in tests. However, after only a month or two with JPW and we have already seen a vast improvement in his performance, both in class and in exams. This is all down to the extremely skilled staff at JPW, who help to carefully develop English skills, week after week. I am very grateful to JPW Tutors for giving my son the confidence he needs to excel. I would highly recommend JPW Academy to children of all skill levels. Thank You JPW Tutors.

I enjoy my weekly lesson as the teacher is very helpful and always encourage us to share our thoughts. I feel motivated to improve my writing skills when I listen to the feedback on my homework.

I recently completed the JPW Tutors English Language and Literature course, which was a transformative experience. This course significantly enhanced my knowledge and skills in both areas. The homework assignments were always challenging yet incredibly helpful, allowing me to apply what I learned in a practical context. The feedback from the tutors was consistently thorough and insightful, guiding me toward improvement every step of the way. I highly recommend JPW Tutors to anyone looking to improve their English language and literature proficiency. This course is worth every penny, and the progress you make is truly rewarding.

Very great Tution! 10/10 , I recommend it to y11 gcse students because they set homework every week and give personal feedback via email.
