Detailed & very helpful Survey report
I recently used Katoli for the second time, after unfortunately failing to complete on a previous property purchase, and once again Tom was outstanding throughout the process.
What really sets Tom apart is the level of detail and care he puts into the survey. His inspection was incredibly thorough and highlighted issues that could easily have been overlooked by a less diligent surveyor. One of the key findings was drainage-related problems, which gave us the opportunity to raise the issue with the seller and ensure it was addressed before completion rather than becoming an expensive problem later.
What I appreciated most was that the report was not just a generic document full of technical jargon. Tom took the time to clearly explain the real risks, what actually mattered, and which items were simply maintenance versus genuine concerns. During a stressful purchase process, that level of clarity and honesty was invaluable.
Following the disappointment of our first failed purchase, having someone experienced, responsive, and genuinely thorough gave us much more confidence moving forward the second time around.
I would highly recommend Tom to anyone buying a property and wanting a survey that is detailed, practical, and genuinely useful rather than just a tick-box exercise.
