Kenwood are exceptional. Seamless, quick, no-fuss and friendly service provided by Carole, Jim O’Malley and Marcus. Provided a visit, quote and scheduled a start date all within 24 hours, to remedy damp issues in our basement flat. I could not recommend them highly enough!

The work is meant to start next week. The service is excellent so far, from survey to report, then to quote and payment. Travis is very patient who answered all my questions in details.

The whole process was quick and efficient, the work was carried out initially by Cameron and finished by Tom and Mike, who left my home with very little to tidy up. All very friendly and did a great job

Kenwood installed a new DPC for us when we moved in - they were friendly, professional, and just got on with the job. I was worried that having the work done while I was working from home would be really disruptive, but apart from some noise at points it was like they weren’t even here.

They kept me updated about when there would be noise and offered to stop if I needed to take any work calls - which I really appreciated.

The job was originally meant to take one day, but the bottom of the wall wasn’t drying quickly enough - instead of rushing the work, they came back the next day to finish it properly.

Overall a great experience and I’d definitely recommend them.

Kenwood did not uphold their damp proof guarentee despite charging me close to £200 for a surveyor to return to carry out an inspection, blaming damp on leaking internal pipes despite not having pipes in that area ! Beware, if you use this company, any return visit for failed damp proofing under their guarentee you will be charged for them to send a surveyor. Try smaller, independent companies with better customer service who do not charge you when their work does not last the guarentee period.

All the staff were very professional in their work and nice to deal with. Surveyor took time to look at everything relevant and understand the previous issues at the house. Paperwork received quickly. For the actual work there was a lot of attention to protecting against the inevitable mess, and to clearing up which I really appreciated. The time to do was realistically predicted. A practical problem which made the originally conceived work impossible was not picked up on the survey which I could have been avoided, although the end result might have been the same. I was cancelled last minute due to staff sickness, but rebooked quickly at as convenient a time as possible. The finished work looks good but I guess only in 20 years will I know it did the trick!

Jim O’Malley was amazing throughout my time dealing with Kenwood. He answered my queries quickly and took a lot of time with me to explain the process. I have no complaints atall with his level of service!

Did a damp survey for some rectification works, however Kenwood were unable to do the works so gave a full refund for the survey. Great service

I’ve had a very positive experience with Travis Lerner so far. He has been professional, approachable and quick to respond, with clear and efficient communication throughout the process. Everything has been explained in a straightforward manner, which has made things feel well managed. The work is yet to be carried out, but based on the service to date, I’m very happy.

I needed a PCA survey report done urgently, I rang the company and they managed to accommodate me a next day early appointment as time was critical. Survey was done, report received all within 48 hours. Excellent and efficient. Travis called and went through the report explaining what is entailed in the report and how they will carry out the work, excellent simple explanation so I could understand. I would definitely recommend their services.

Do not use this company. The workmen who completed the damp works left two doors to our home wide open, allowing someone to walk in and steal our belongings. Despite having time stamped video evidence from our neighbours, the company refused to accept any responsibility. This not only demonstrates extreme negligence from the workmen, but also complete dishonesty and lack of integrity from the company, including the CEO. Do not trust them at all.

The worst company I've ever dealt with. We came home after the dampwork to our posessions rummaged through and items missing. Our neighbours took videos of our front doors being left completely open by the workers who had left for the day. Despite the insurance company and police agreeing this is what happened, Kenwood refused to take any responsibility for it, took a month 'investigating' which just consisted of lying to us and ignoring us. I've never had such a terrible experience with a company, they are completely untrustworthy.

Fast and efficient service from Jim and the team at Kenwood in booking in a survey on a property I was buying. They identified some damp issues and proposed a fully costed and well-explained solution - which then enabled me to re-negotiate the sale price

Initial impressions are very good particularly with Jim O’Malley who always replies promptly to calls and emails and is always available to give advice. The quote seems competitive especially with the 5% discount if accepted within 5 working days

Requested a survey from Kenwood to assess condensation and humidity in a flat in London. It was very easy to arrange and the cost of the survey can come off any works you agree to remediate issues identified. The surveyor was very professional and thorough. The report was exactly what we wanted and gave clear guidance on areas that could improve ventilation in the flat.
