My kilt took over 6 weeks to arrive but when it did and at first sight it looked smaller than expected but otherwise the material and workmanship looked good. When I tried it on, to my great disappointment, it was too small. I checked my measurements, I'd asked for a 25 inch waist. The waist measurement on the outside of the kilt when fastened is about 24 inches but, due to the thickness of the material in the waistband and the distance between the strap and the buckle to fasten, the waist measurement is about 22 inches on the inside.
In initial dialogue with the company, they claimed, even after I sent photos, that the kilt was correctly sized. As a consequence of this response, I took expert advice on the construction of the kilt and it is incorrectly constructed in a number of components. I sent this information to the company and have received no acknowledgement or further communication.
I would accept some imperfections but due to the sizing issue, I cannot wear this kilt.

I ordered a jacket and waistcoat for my husband that was needed in 6 weeks time. We were informed they would be with us prior to the event on 10th April.
However a few days before they still hadn’t arrived. I emailed and messaged and was reassured it would arrive on time.
I was sent a copy of the DPD label to say it was booked for next day delivery (Tuesday 7th April)
I checked every day in the DPD tracking and it was always showing as they still hadn’t received the package.
By Friday 10th April (the day of the event) it still was showing as not received by DPD. So my husband had to buy a totally brand new outfit in a rush!!
Eventually this arrived on Tuesday 14th April. It was crammed into the smallest box possible so badly crushed and creased. The quality of the jacket was appalling.
We have asked for how to return this and for a full refund but have been completely ignored by the company.
This is no way to run a business!!!!

Please do not order from this company, my son Archie Dalgliesh ordered a Dalgliesh tartan kilt, which has been the same tartan for many many hundreds of years .. what they sent was a “modern”Dalgliesh Tartan that no one has ever seen before this was not what he ordered and they would not acknowledge there mistake and then just ignored all his complaints.. this is a disgusting way to run a business and now on there website there is no modem tartan even available he had paid a lot of money and his kilt pin arrived broken and they said they would ship a new one but never did .. very unsatisfactory service all round

Great communications. I paid for a rush order and the kilt was delivered in-time for my needs. I believe The kilt maker wanted to insure my measurements were in line with what would insure the best fit. The material looks and feels to be very good quality. The price was great value.

I always had good responses to my queries. Although the courier misplaced my kilt, Waqar was able to ensure it eventually arrived and in good order. I appreciated the support I was given.

I ordered a kilt outfit and what they sent was nothing like the picture. Emailed about it and they claimed they had decided to send me a completely different product. The product they sent was vastly inferior to the pictured product and had an absolutely toxic chemical smell that gave me a severe headache within seconds.

Initially they refused to give me a refund but eventually send me an email confirming the refund. 24 days later it has not been received and they are ignoring all emails asking them to confirm it has been processed. I opened a dispute via my credit card company which has just been paid out in full.

I believe this is may be a company selling knock off products. If you do a reverse image search of their kilt outfits you will discover many of the images appear on a different sellers website but in higher resolution.

Note: they have twice reported my review for containing ‘harmful or illegal content’ in an attempt to get it taken down. That should tell you all you need to know.
