I ordered a kilt via kilt4less which was a bespoke Duncan modern tartan for a wedding at short notice, the kilt arrived (a shade late but I was kept in loop about the order process all the way through so was fine) and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, the kilt was heavy with a lot of good material (I ordered 8 yard version) The kilt was comparable to kilt hire places I have used before. All in, good service and good quality product, I would definitely recommend, Andrew

I originally ordered the green seal…
I originally ordered the green seal sporran on their site, unfortunately it wasn’t in stock and was unavailable at that time. I really wanted a green sporran to go with my Ancient Urquhart tartan kilt. The company was GREAT, they custom coloured one of their leather dress sporrans for me. This was offered to be done for me by the very kind customer service agent. The end result was gorgeous. It turned out to be even better than the original choice I made. I can’t thank them enough they made this auld chappy very happy. Thanks guys.

Impressed with the exceptional quality of kilt outfit and incredible customer service. Delivered in less than a week and exceeded my expectation. Would certainly recommend and would use again. Customer service was excellent.

The kilt i ordered arrived on time. I was kept upto date through emails and WhatsApp. It is of very good quality even better than I had expected. Im now thinking of maybe ordering another. The packaging was only a plastic bag inside another and thankfully no damage. Maybe in a small box within a bag might help against ripping as it is material. Other than that I'm very happy with the whole process from purchase to delivery.

The product ordered was exactly what i expected. Speedy Delivery. Customer Service was excellent they constantly kept me updated on progress and delivery and checked in to make sure they had all the information needed to complete my order (Customizations etc).

I was a little disappointed when my kilt and jacket arrived as they were squashed into a box the defied the laws of physics and not entirely happy with the feel of the wool used.

That said you get what you pay for and once pressed the fit of the jacket was perfect. The kilt was too big but a replacement was sent at no extra cost. So as others have said if it’s for a casual occasion you are good to go. If it’s something special you may want to spend more at a high street establishment and not an online merchant.

I would use Kilt4less if the need arises again.

Bought a “Men’s 8 Yard Prince Charlie Kilt Outfit”

Firstly, this is not a “bad” review.
However, the prices are misleading suggesting that they are £1000+ kilts that are discounted, they’re not.
Having worn multiple hire kilts to weddings and formal events through university the quality is just not quite there.
With that being said, the sizing, customer communication and kilt outfit you receive for the price stated it is perfectly adequate for parties and things that are much less formal.
If you’re looking for your wedding kilt, I would suggest you splash out elsewhere.
If it’s for a Ceilidh or something similar, it’s perfectly fine.

company trading under the name Kilt 4 Less, presenting itself as a UK business while supplying poorly manufactured goods from Pakistan and misrepresenting the origin, quality, and nature of its products

1. The company advertises itself as a UK-based kiltmaker but ships items from Pakistan.
2. The received product is defective, incorrectly constructed, and not as described.
3. The company refused a straightforward refund unless I first removed my review, which is an unethical practice.
4. They provided no UK return address and insisted on international shipping at my cost.
5. Their public response contains false statements about my order and about kilt construction.
6. I have screenshots confirming misrepresentation, refusal to follow UK consumer law, and contradictory statements between private messages and public replies.

I would love to provide all necessary evidence and request that you investigate this business for:
• misleading commercial practices,
• false representation of trading location,
• unfair consumer treatment,
• potential abuse of UK business registration,
• possible violations of The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

From my custom size order online, to delivery, less than 7 days! Amazing, and the quality of my waistcoat is superb. Very highly recommended.

I ordered a charcoal grey Argyll jacket and vest, and charcoal grey hose. When the box containing the jacket arrived I was surprised that the box was so small. The jacket had been crushed into a box with. Footprint not much bigger than A4. As such the jacket came out creased beyond repair. Aside from that, the quality of the material did not match the original price of £300, with cumbersome buttons and a colour closer to black than charcoal grey. In disputing the condition of the jacket and requesting a refund, I was refused based on the individual tailoring, despite the fact that the jacket was unwearable. I await further communications to rectify this, nothing as yet.

So subsequent communications have yielded a full refund. Hence why the star rating is better. Can’t say I’d be quick to use them again for a tailored jacket, but as others have pointed out you do get what you pay for. The hose I bought fit well and I can’t imagine you’d go far wrong with a sporran or “un-tailored” item.

We are delighted with our kilt! It is fantastic quality and fits perfectly. A great shopping experience.

Was recommended this company by a friend that knows about kilts and told me that if I was looking for a real 8 yard traditional kilt this was the company that would offer a great price without compromising quality and he was correct beautifully made from top quality materials and a perfect fit, the communication from them made the measuring and ordering simple and I am astonished at the quality and price, can’t recommend highly enough

I ordered a Kilt in Murray Ancient tartan which little time to spare before a very special family event.
Kilt4Less in general and Hamza in particular pulled out all the stops and went to such lengths to ensure that the kilt was made and dispatched for us to receive it before the wedding.
I am very impressed by the quality of their work and the diligence of their service.
We shall certainl be returning to do business with them in the future.
