I waited 5 minutes as the ONLY person in line and Mary at the service desk wouldn't even look at my face. Decided to leave. How miserable do you have to be as a human to treat others that way.

the website is terrible
the website is terrible. the 'keep me logged in' option is completely broken. the cart disappears randomly and won't come back unless i restart my vpn. they're clearly outsourcing development to the cheapest possible place. use target or walmart instead.
King Soopers 100 W Littleton Blvd
King Soopers 100 W Littleton Blvd, Littleton
Very poor customer service. I bought a can of tomatoes for $3 that was past its expiration date. I came with a check to return the money, but was refused by Front End Supervisor Linda. She said that the item was purchased at another King Soopers store, and according to their store policy, they do not refund money for expired goods. She claimed that the information online about returns to any store was false. When I asked to speak to the store manager or another manager, I was told that there were no managers at work at 1 PM and that nobody knew when they would be back to work.
Conclusion: I bought an expired product, and the return request was denied.

KS at 80th & Wadsworth Blvd in Arvada has gotten so bad with long lines, lack of scanners at self check out and lack of staff to help with issues makes shopping a chore. I have shopped at this store for 39 years and have seen it go downhill especially after the last strike.
Condescension from King Soopers
I went to a King Soopers on Woodman Road in Colorado Springs, CO, specifically to buy one item. I spent $122 including for that one item.
When I unloaded my groceries at home that one item was not in my bags. I called the store. I asked to speak to a manager, and when I was connected, he connected me to a head clerk or something. I told both men what had happened and asked that the item be delivered to my front door. I explained that I am a senior citizen and have had food delivered to me in the past. However, both of them insisted that they do not have a delivery service that could deliver that item.
I called customer service for King Soopers, or maybe Kroger and talked to a very condescending woman who also sounded very bored and she gave me the brilliant advice that I should check my groceries bags before I leave the store. Does that mean I need to stand there and unpack every bag and then repack them before I leave the store every time I buy groceries? She also sounded very bored and refused to deliver that one item to my house. She gave me credit on my account.
All three people with whom I spoke sounded very condescending and bored and I plan to never shop at a King Soopers again as long as I live. If any of them had even used a kinder or more helpful tone of voice rather than speaking in a condescending and bored manner to me, I wouldn’t have this opinion.
All of the staff expect me to drive to a King Soopers and pick up the one item wasting 30 minutes or more of my time.
One of the staff should have offered to have the item delivered to my front door. The mistake was theirs, not mine. I guess King Soopers has not heard of the concept of good customer service.
Easy shopping trip
This supermarket had everything I needed in one place, from groceries to household items. Checkout was quick and easy.
Coupon scam
Not sure if anybody else has had this issue, but now twice I have used coupons, once with a live cashier and once at self checkout and the coupon was scanned and appeared on the screen as if it was accepted. Later when I looked at my receipt only 1 coupon was utilized when I had scanned 4. Like I mentioned, this happened twice at two different King Soopers which makes me think this is a corporate issue.

King Soopers in Pueblo North offered a great shopping experience today, 7/22/25. This was our 4th visit to this store and we come from Pueblo West (around a 20 mile drive r/t) due to the store being clean and well-organized, making it easy to find everything. The staff is friendly and helpful, and checkout was quick. Two particular staff members who deserve a special recognition: Jayleen and Krystal, both employees have shown excellent customer service skills, amazing problem solving skills and most importantly customer satisfaction skills. Thank you to the both of them for making our shop experience pleasant. In addition to the great staff the fresh produce selection and variety of items were especially appreciated as this is the main reason for traveling from PW. It's our go-to grocery store and I highly recommend them.
Welcome to the "Your ignorant
Welcome to the "Your ignorant, don't know the law, and I'm the big giant security thug at the front door" King Soopers. Big giant Security azzhole at the front door checking customers receipts , and when you challenge him by telling him Kroger has numerous cameras watching your transactions he gets upset, because he can't use his "rent a cop" authority to hassle Krogers customers. You DO NOT have to show your receipts as Kings loss prevention has all your transactions on video. I also find it extremely comical that this store on Centennial (in a very high income bracket zip code) is being hit so hard from shoplifting that they need a Rent a Cop at the front door. Remember when Loss Prevention had balls, and did their job? I do. Want to call Denver corporate and file a complaint? Go ahead, plan on being on hold, and hung up on--to get your issue(s) resolved. Then you can call back, get rerouted to a call center that's NOT connected to the corporate office for your issue to go unresolved. Lloyd King would be turning over in his grave right now knowing that Kroger has 466 million dollars made last quarter, and this crap is being pulled here at this store. Shameful is all it is, while providing Centennial store with a piss poor reputation. Maybe it's all the millionaires behind the store in Kissing Camels that are shoplifting.....hmmmm.
CROOKS NEVER SHOP HERE
TWICE in six months some moron somehow charged another customers order to me. They charged an order of 175 dollars, which overdrafted my account. King Soopers first didn’t want to refund me then I had to tell them to, and they said it would be 2-5 days, I don’t know why it wasn’t immediate.
I told them I’d overdraft FOUR TIMES and every cs rep said it was on the way. It’s 6 days later no refund and 240$ in overdraft charges. I’m never giving them another dollar. As bad as Instacart is, you’re so much better off using them.
UPDATE - Two weeks later still no refund that 7 people have said was processed and on the way and I got an email saying the refund was not approved
The Kingsoopers on Martin Luther King…
The Kingsoopers on Martin Luther King jk in central park has the worst employees. If they dislike their jobs so much, might as well go look for a different job. I visited today on May 6, 2025, the chubby light skin girl with blonde curly hair working self check out had an altitude for asking her a question. The security guard asking for my receipt, after standing there and seeing that i scanned everything. And i was the only person they requested to see a receipt from. If i wanted to steal, I would have ran out the door! I am a hard working, tax paying citizen, there is no need for them to profile me, for asking questions about prices that are not ringing up as they are on the sign.
management here is a joke
The store in Castle Rock, CO on Promenade Parkway is an absolute disaster. Their corporate office should be ashamed to have their company logo on the building.
The sheer laziness of their staff is disgraceful. I have never taken the time to negatively review a grocery store but this kind of behavior has got to be addressed. The town of Castle Rock is one of the nicest communities in the country.
First I want to address the deli. A prime example of our frustration is our experience tonight. I sent my husband to this location tonight to pick up some corned beef and rye bread for some sandwiches for dinner and for his lunches this week. He specifically requested it "thin: almost shaved. Somewhere between shaved and the thinnest they can slice it". I have a medical condition in which I don't digest food the way other people do as well as two members of our family suffer from dry mouth. He made the trip with plenty of time for them to process his order. He came home and $40 later in corned beef, it's sliced about 2mm thick. It's clear that the employees have it in their head that they can save time by cutting it thick and have to move their arms less to get to 2 lbs. Now, I realize you'll have to move your arms twice or maybe even three times as much to accommodate our request but having been in customer service for nearly 30 years, I know that if you don't do it right, you'll end up doing it right the second time. I'm beyond disappointed in the lack of service in this store.
Ordering online and picking up here takes forever.
Items are expired so check your labels.
Management is a mess. These issues should be resolved by now. Roll the staff that doesn't want to do the job they're hired to do and put some pride into your company you represent everyday. So funny how they have no trouble accepting their paychecks from the corporation they work daily to run to the ground.
Fourth time they've canceled my order after telling me it was going to arrive late
I stayed up late, waiting for my delivery order, which I paid extra for to get same day (I have a yearly delivery membership with they are delivery service, Boost).
I did that because I bought my multiples of staples that were on sale and used all my coupons.
I paid a helper $38 at $19 an hour to help me place the order because I have neck issues.
It's the last day of the coupons and sales,
and they canceled my order
after they sent a texting and it would be an hour and a half late.
I'm so tired and am not going to have enough sleep. I was willing to lose the sleep to save the money.
My savings was $76 plus the $38 plus my sleep.
I'll need to pay $19 an hour for 1 hour to redo the order as well.
They offered me $10 to make up for this.
I explained the circumstances and my expectations of Kroger, asked them to please have the same order for the same price sent in the morning.. but they we're not so obliged.
Beyond awful
Beyond awful.
Customer service needs firing.
Sent 8 emails to get a $88 receipt, and they have finally sent me their standard e-mail that I received after my first e-mail and this is despite another e-mail promising the receipt within three working days.
Useless beyond belief and will not shop there again

I was in KING SOOPERS yesterday and I cannot believe how much they are raising all the prices many close to a dollar per package. I can’t afford to shop there anymore. If I do, it’ll be just the ad.
They have very deep pockets. I think they can absorb some of the cost of the raises and not pass it on to the consumer as they always do it’s very disappointing.
king soopers employees are on strike
king soopers employees are on strike, I looked uptheir earnings last year and they made enough to pay out over $7 billion to investors, yet they are cutting the employees benefits? That tells me a couple things about this company. 1. they are overly focused on profits at the expense of their employees who deliver the services to customers that keep the company in business. 2. they are charging me too much for products, gouging due to inflation. 3. management/leadership is no different than other greedy/callous corporations in their treatment of the people who are their assets.
I support the people who make king soopers a store that I like to shop at, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, they remember me by name, always nice/respectful. This means that I will be shopping elsewhere until they resolve their differences and I hope the employees get a better deal.

BearValley King Soopers is far from friendly and fresh! The remodel was a complete waist of money. Sunday morning 8am you would think they would have fresh donuts or at least some donuts instead of NO donuts. Friendly is far from Misty In the produce. This store should be closed or taken over by new management 🤔
King Soopers Ribeye or Florsheim Wingtips?
If your taste in steaks leans more towards a size 10D Florsheim wingtip shoe, you have come to the right place. What they call "Choice" ribeye is barely edible and only if you are so hungry you'd eat a shoe. Toughest and most tasteless steak I've had in a long long time. They don't carry USDA "Prime" beef and I can't image what kind of garbage they sell under the "Select" classification. Yeah, I'm spoiled by the outstanding butcher shops in TX and AL, but come on maaaaan!. My dog would not waste her time on a King Soopers "choice" steak.
