I bought a Kitchenaid stick blender a few years ago in a case with many fittings and paid well over £200 for it, much more than other units at the time, thinking I was purchasing something of quality that would last. It has not had a hard life in our kitchen at home, quite rarely used and never for onerous tasks. A few days ago it stopped working, battery fully charged, lights up as usual but press the 'go' button and...nothing. I contacted Kitchenaid to arrange a repair and I was told if it is out of warranty they will not accept it for repair........! I was amazed, but they said nope, nothing doing, we don't repair items out of warranty, end of, so i now have a very expensive and pretty looking doorstop. Needless to say I will never buy anything from them again. Beware!
DON'T BUY A KITCHENAID!
I don't think I've ever encountered worse customer service than KitchenAid, and have just reported them to the UKICC. I bought a KitchenAid for my mother's 75th birthday from the official KitchenAid UK website, where it states that: 'Good news on import taxes: no import or customs duties will be charged to you, as the customer, when your goods arrive. All costs relating to importation and customs will be managed by KitchenAid." However, I was still charged £112.81 for import duties when it was delivered. I raised this immediately with the KitchenAid customer services department, as instructed to on their website, but after providing all necessary bank information and much back and forth on email, I am still waiting for my customs refund, nearly 7 weeks later. This is false advertising on their website: a) for claiming I wouldn't be charged in the first place, and b) that customer service would help me resolve it. Not to mention it took an hour of waiting on hold to be able to be connected to someone in said customer services department to start with – and even then the woman who answered the call was unapologetic and didn't know what to do to resolve. There's no way I would have purchased a KitchenAid in the first place if I'd known I would have to find another £100+ on top of the already very expensive price – I mistakenly thought they were the premium food processor. WRONG!

I’m leaving this review after spending the last few weeks unsuccessfully trying to get hold of the user manuals which were missing when I bought it. I have sent multiple emails to customer services trying to resolve this, the first time i got in touch I did receive some manuals but they were the wrong ones and each time I have messaged them since I get a conformation of receipt but nothing more. Looks like Kitchen Aid are living up to their reputation of bad customer service like so many others have experienced. I have been asked twice to leave this review, the first time I told them that they probably wanted to send through the manuals before I did, but still nothing just another email asking for my review. They offer a 10 year warranty on their products but it's been impossible returning my blender product because their staff don't answer your emails. I've been trying to return a blender for the past year. They sent me a UPS Link that expired because they didn't send me the reference number in time. When I contact them to send me a new reference number along with a new UPS link, I get flatly ignored.

Very disappointed with KitchenAid. My bowl broke under guarantee, but they cancelled the replacement as it’s out of stock and offered no alternative. The agent was dismissive and wouldn’t help. Poor service for such an expensive brand. Do not buy from Kitchen aid. There are several people experiencing the same problem

I purchased a KitchenAid coffee…
I purchased a KitchenAid coffee machine, and it worked fine for a couple of months. Then it suddenly started to deteriorate, so I sent it to their technicians for repair. I heard nothing for about a month, so I called them. They admitted they forgot to email me and said the machine was beyond repair. I asked for a replacement or a refund.
After many delayed and frustrating email exchanges, they offered me vouchers covering the refund plus an extra £100 for the delay. However, all their coffee machines were priced over £800, making the vouchers practically useless since I couldn't afford to spend that amount with them. I then requested a refund transferred back to my bank account.
In total, it took them 80 days to refund me £209.40 out of the £350 owed. Now, I’m forced to go through small claims court to recover the remaining balance. Their customer service is appalling, and their communication is atrocious. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. KitchenAid seriously needs to get a grip.
Horrendous customer service
Worst customer service. The motor on my Artisan Stand Mixer blew after only 3-4 months of occasional use. Customer service will not answer phone calls or emails. I’m trying to go through Section 75 with my credit card company to get a refund. I will never buy from KitchenAid again. Poor product with even worse customer service.

Shocking Product not fit for purpose
I purchased a Artisan KitchenAid mixer for £500- I had not undertaken any research other than seeing them being used on cooking programmes.
Previously I have never paid more than £100 for a mixer but as I do a lot of baking & cooking felt this was probably a good buy!!! Unfortunately this was not the case- the mixer spills everywhere- the whisk buckled despite it not being a hard mix - the small bowl is too small for the cover - absolutely shocking product.
I have tried on 3 occasions emailed KitchenAid to ask them for advice or whether I need to upgrade but no-one in the company has had the decency to respond.

This has been the worst experience I’ve had with any company. I purchased a KitchenAid, which arrived broken. It took a long time just to reach customer service and get a return label. I returned the product on 29/05/2025 well within the required timeframe but over 20 days later, I still haven’t received my refund.
Despite calling and emailing for over a week, and being told that the returned item was received, the issue remains unresolved. I’m incredibly distressed I feel like I’ve lost £400. Had I known this would be the outcome, I never would have spent another £400 on a replacement machine in good faith.
Owning a KitchenAid has been a dream of mine since I was a teenager. I promised myself I would buy one when I purchased my first flat. Sadly, that dream has turned into a nightmare due to this experience. I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to share this. The company’s customer service is extremely poor and does not live up to the standard expected especially not for such an expensive item.
I absolutely do not recommend shopping with them, especially if something goes wrong. Proceed with caution.

This is honestly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The company did not provide the correct engraving on a mixer that I ordered for Mother's Day, I returned for rectification and was waiting for over 8 weeks!! They then said it would take 90 days to get the correct part and have now said I'll be refunded. This was all surrounded by a range of unhelpful calls to the customer service number. When I asked how to complain to the company, I honestly received the following response by email: "Regarding complaints, you're free to go wherever you want, but we don't have a specific process." Seriously, this is a diabolical service.

Ordered mixer 1 May for daughter’s 21st birthday arrived wrongly engraved I had to find a shop to post it back Received 16 May and despite repeated attempts to contact company for update have finally got through to customer service to be informed that they have lost it - no attempt to resolve and met with apathetic response at best

I was on the phone for almost an hour today, hoping to speak to someone. I have attached a photo of this. Unfortunately, I find this long and futile wait very upsetting.
I wanted to inquire about my mixer that was returned for warranty repair, which arrived on May 19th.
To this day I can't call them because no one answers the phone, I haven't heard anything about my machine that cost several hundred pounds for 3 weeks now.
I'm sorry to have to say this, but never again will I buy KitchenAid because the customer service is rubbish.

My toaster 5KMT5115BER 2 yrs old and not much used ( was in a second home) does not keep the lever down. I contacted kitchenaid service uk and was told company policy is to NOT repair toasters, and basically throw it away. I rang a local repair Center for electric small items and told me kitchenAid does not provide spare parts. KitchenAid has Beautiful products and terrible quality and terrible customer service. I gave an expensive kitchenAid Artisan mixer, I hope it is not of such bad quality as their toasters and will last me longer.
