KKS Avis 2

I have received NO service from KKS this week. An issue reported for a non-functional oven still not repaired or replaced after 5 days. 6 days of not having it as it failed on a Sunday. Internal miscommunication, at best, and a complete refusal to accommodate an urgent repair and an incorrect date on their ticketing system. Best time to repair is another 4 calendar days. So we will have had no oven for 9 days. Totally unacceptable.

I want to give a shout out to KKS Kontinental Kitchen Supplier Ballyfermot Dublin.
We were having a new kitchen sink installed yesterday. Unfortunately the person who measured the sink (family member, another story ) took the incorrect measurements.
We had the plumber in situ. The old sink removed, the worktop bare and a sink too small. When I say I drove the length and breadth of County Kildare looking to buy one which would fit is not exaggerating. I had my grand kiddies in the car, not impressed and a plumber waiting for me to return.
We were four hours on the road, went into well known hardware specialists, no help at all. Shoulder shrugs and didn't entertain the question, if could they could order a sink (slightly larger than standard from any of their suppliers). The suppliers were both local and large companies who have stores throughout Ireland and further afar. The amount of calls made to large suppliers in Dublin who promised faithfully they would check and let me know, 24 hours later still heard nothing.
Out of the blue I called Kontinental Kitchen Supplies Ballyfermot. First impression, a lovely lady answered the phone and said she would get someone to help me. I am really sorry I didn't ask her name. At this point my two grandchildren in the car were not happy. Murphy's Law all this happened on my kiddy sitting day.
A lovely gentleman called Ken came to the phone, he checked out my requirements and although they didn't have what I needed, daid he had someone in mind and would call me back. I really never expected to hear anything further. Within ten minutes he called with the number of a company called The Bathroom Store in Dundalk which I subsequently called. Another professional called Luckasz dealt with me, said he didn't have what I was looking for but would contact a supplier and see if they had anything in stock. Low and behold ten minutes later he called back, his supplier had one which, is now ordered for me.
Both experiences with KKS and Bathroom Store were more than professional and shows the meaning of excellent customer service. I will be shouting this from the rooftops and will recommend both companies whenever I can. A big thank you to both
