Kolamba At Home Avis

Great service and delivery - very easy to plan ahead. Clear packaging and instructions. Very generous portions - says each packet serves two but ours is lasting as least twice that. The feast box gives you a great range of curries so much so that we only opened a few and will be able to have another couple of meals from the remaining elements

It would be really really helpful to have a spice guide though - the food is quite spicy. We would usually go for medium curries at local restaurants and we would rate this as hot in comparison. Going to have to add coconut milk to all the curries for the next sitting!! Slight shame as after a while we couldn’t taste the aromatics because of the heat.

Very well flavoured & cooked to perfection and delivered to the highest quality. The meal was packaged well and arrived in good order. Will certainly come to the restaurant next time in due course.

This is our second box of food and, as before, the tastes are tremendous. The food tastes fresh and is alive with luscious flavours of the far East.
We have the vegetarian feast mixed with either fish or, for the meat eater in the family, the chicken dish.
We also have the mutton rolls or the banana patis - deeelish. We thoroughly enjoy the food and wholeheartedly recommend Kolamba.

Husband had asked for a next level takeaway for a big birthday .

Kolamba’s Sri Lankan Feast via their home delivery ticked all the boxes. Husband is not often impressed by takeaways but he rated all the dishes as show stoppers. Even our fussy older kids enjoyed most of it. All the little extra Thali type side dishes add another layer too,
The Lion beers went well too.
I, sure we will order again

Lovely food, great mix of flavours and textures in the meal. Delighted it was gluten free. Good portion sizes too

Had the vegan meal kit for two and biscuit pudding. Easy to prepare. A lot of food for two people. Could probably feed four people.
The pol sambol and pineapple curry were particularly delicious.
The jackfruit curry was a little bland.
The biscuit pudding was okay, but I wouldn't it get again.

Reliable delivery. Great flavours. Fresher home cooked and is better value than a take-away!

Delicious and authentic Sri Lankan food! Super easy to reheat/cook at home

Feasting box sent as a gift and have heard back from the recipients that they really enjoyed the food. Great service and delivery was on time. Thank you.

It was fantastic. Recommend to anyone!

The food is good quality. The portions adequate but not good value at the price.

Really enjoyed the food and was reminded of my very early days in Sri Lanka

My wife is gluten free, dairy free and sugar free. This is perfect for a meal for both of us as we can choose food that suits our tastes and dietary requirements.

Have visited Sri Lanka over the years & enjoyed Kolamba , at home & restaurant.
This experience very good , & tasty but got our Dessert wrong !
Ordered banana seed patties , realised savoury , so no dessert.
Husband liked too memories of Sri Lanka Kithul syrup

Poor value for money. Food ok, better options available.

Excellent taste. Easy to make

It is so easy to order a Kolamba meal which is delivered on time and never disappoints.
There is usually enough left for breakfast too!

Didn't feel as tasty or authentic as had in the restaurant
