I ordered a cake via telephone and spoke directly to what would be their head office

When I arrived to collect the cake the inscription was not neat / properly legible
The store staff decided it was okay to leave the cake and after having had spoken to them and disclosed the sensitive nature of the occasion they gave a cake on good gesture (no inscription) I offered to pay for the cake and they insisted it would be given on good gesture and wished me the best regarding the upcoming occasion.

They informed me to get a refund I would need to contact the head office and let them know to process the refund
I explained the situation to Marcela who I spoke with on both occasions

She proceeded to call the store to verify with them and informed me that I had misunderstood their gesture of good will (which I did not misunderstand as they made it clear that I would normally have to pay in store for the pick up and they could not process the refund which was for the online order) she refused to honour the refund which was promised in store and insisted that I had not understood them properly

It’s both insulting and disappointing to see how Marcela treated me and the situation
I will be returning to store to return the items and will no longer be a customer for them and will warn others of their poor service lack of regard for customer satisfaction and overall just making customers feel shit.

Love their cakes in store and online order was delivered promptly. Konditor do the best moist red velvet cakes in London and we really enjoyed their sticky toffee pudding seasonal flavour & curly whirly. I always order the half and half cake but it's a shame you can't personalise and add a message.

Whilst we really enjoyed the cake for my partner's 30th birthday , the cake went stale quite quickly. 2 days after we had the cake arrived the freshness hasn't lasted as long as previous cakes we've ordered online. Luckily we ate most of the cake quickly but it's a shame this product didn't last 3-5 whole days for freshness.

Appalling customer service . Xmas goodies sent as present weren’t delivered . Ordered in good time for Xmas and delivery due 6 days before . Attempted to contact them by email ,/ phone . When eventually got through by phone on 23 December I was promised a call back that never materialised . Eventually cancelled order 24 December So disappointing

0 star. Order wasn’t delivered. Now birthday is a complete disappointment. Bravo

Initially we were so impressed with the cakes. The chocolate noisette and lemon chiffon were beautiful. However my last order was awful, lemon chiffon didn't taste fresh and was poorly iced. I ordered the curly whirly and it was stodgy and tasteless. Both cakes ended up in the bin. I can't stand inconsistency so I'm hesitant to reorder.

Cakes are always a big hit whenever I bring them- flavour is rich and they’re not sugar bombs

Ordered a cake for celebration. Very easy to use their website, good price and the quality was top! Highly recommend their Chocolate Noisette (gianduia and mascarpone in the cream), absolutely delicious and devoured by a party of the Italians and French who know a good cake!

The customer service was easy to contact, and the delivery was sharp on time. Fresh, delicious, a gem!

Konditor is a bit pricey but once I tried it I just ended up going back for more!

The brownies are some of the best I’ve ever tried. They did rename my favourite one (if you know you know) and their cakes are so good as well. They have a range of flavours so you’re likely to find something you love but for me it’s got to be the curly whirly!

The gherkin branch has since closed down but had a few lovely sit down lunches there too. So it’s not always about the sweet stuff but that’s what I mainly go back for now.
