I saw adverts for this course on Google and Indeed at a discounted price and although I was skeptical at first, I decided to take the plunge. I was even offered the chance to pay installments, which I didn't need.

This course is very well run, suitable for those with zero histology experience and offering a full scope of the process from specimen reception, to microtomy, to staining and QC- but with an emphasis on precise and efficient sectioning. Everyone on the course has individual access to a microtome and plenty of time to develop their own techniques. The course is 80% practical with 20% theory, based on commonly encountered problems in the lab and gives people the skills needed to start work straight away as a Band 4 Associate Practitioner (although this would equally suit someone doing CPD to move up to Band 5 BMS.)

I thought both Kunle and Sharara were patient, personable, extremely professional and went the extra mile to make sure we got the best out of our time in the lab, as well as giving us plenty of 1 on 1 attention to iron out our weaknesses and ensure we were prepared before the final assessment. In addition, Kunle also offered everyone assistance in finding locum work with a healthcare agency so that we could find employment as soon as possible.

This was a definitely a worthwhile investment and has helped me kickstart my career, having previously been at a disadvantage for lack of lab experience. After completing the course, I had a few permanent band 5 BMS interviews and whilst waiting for the outcomes, I signed up to YourWorld agency. Within 3 weeks, they found me Band 4 locum work. After 5 weeks, I have already earned back the cost of the course in earnings. I only wish I'd heard of this LabMedExpert sooner.

The course has been very important to me as it gave me the skills needed to kick start my career. Since finishing the course, I got numerous job interviews in the NHS. I finally secured a band 5 job 2 months after completing. I strongly recommend this course . Kunle has been an excellent mentor, very patient. He guided me even after completion of the course on interview skills and cv writing. Thank you labmed, U changed my life.

LabMedExpert services were in general satisfactory. They provided me with the basic skills required in diagnostic histopathology that NHS laboratories would not provide and so this prepares me for what to expect in both private and NHS laboratories. I think in order to develop and improve on the service, I think including practical techniques in automated systems and machines within diagnostic histopathology will really help in applying learning to different histopathology laboratories as there are some labs that also have automated systems in place so gaining practical experience of this will also be advantageous in the long term. Overall, the services were highly satisfactory and I will recommend this to biomedical graduates that are looking to pursue a career in histology diagnostics.
Overall, I would advise to undertake the training with an open and positive mind-set for any biomedical science student so that you are at ease during the process of training.

A great step for a graduate like me to gain the skills and experience needed to become a suitable candidate for the histopathology NHS jobs. I was working within the NHS within 2 weeks of completing this course (roles worked as: Band 4 associate practitioner and Band 5 trainee BMS) and could not have done it without this initiating step in my career. Training by Kunle was provided in an enjoyable, informing and well-organized manner. His experience in various NHS hospital provides invaluable advice for the interviews and applications.

If you love histology, then this is the course for you.Wonderful, loved every moment. All the laboratory staff were helpful always. They were always a massive help and always helped me. I got a job before even completing the training.I feel confident to take my career in a new direction.

Excellent Service .This training is practical-oriented and it has given me the experience that I required to work within the histology laboratory. I graduated as a Biomedical Science graduate since 2016 and couldn't get a job due to lack of experience. I am receiving offers for NHS jobs after doing this intensive training on histology from LabMedExpert. The training has taught me various skills which includes embedding, staining, microtomy, special staining etc. So many people are unaware of the fact that after doing their higher studies with little effort of getting specific trainings can help them to get a good profile jobs in private sector or NHS hospital. I would recommend biomedical students to get enroll for the training and experience the knowledge and better opportunities themselves.

That was exactly the training I was looking for- very intensive and providing the laboratory skills required to do a proper job in a histology lab.
Kunle is an amazing teacher and I enjoyed the days spent in the lab together with other trainees.
