BPS Depot Avis 

Bought a 7M scaffolding Tower from this Company via Amazon. Unfortunately two of the ladders arrived damaged. Luckily for me I had CCTV of the delivery man depositing them in my garden damaged and was able to produce this evidence that they arrived damaged and was not caused by me. Having made contact with the company I dealt with Carly who was excellent and the following day replacements arrived. I then had to order some additional smaller ladder extensions as I was using the ladder inside and need to reduce the hight due to me celling; something I'd not considered. Again requested one day; the following day the ladders arrived. While damage happened (it can) the company put this right immediately sending out replacements within 24 hrs. This is TOP customer service. I would therefore highly recommend this company and a 5 Star rating for Carly too.

Ordered aluminium delux pergola £999.00. Took two weeks and a few calls before it arrived. This was in nov 2025 had to wait until new year to assemble and found screws wheee threaded and parts just did not fit together as per instructions. After three weekends of trying I lost the will to live and threw it all in the back of a trailer for recycling centre I emailed company and received no support or reply would not recommend this company for anything

This company does exactly what they say they will.
In fact Carly is so polite and efficient I honestly thought she must be AI when we communicated online ...she isn't by the way!
Brilliant service - if only more could be like this.

Don't trust this company as they don't tell the truth and are clearly unethical.
Take a look at their one star reviews before you order, as what I say below appears to be a reoccurring theme and is clearly 'how they roll' as a company!

It's either that or their systems are not fit for purpose (don't really think so!).

I've reported them to trading standards as this is not honest trading.

They advertise goods on their web site that say 'In Stock' for delivery next day if you order within x hours/minutes.
You place the order and they take your money, and 24 hours later you have an email that says 'we're so sorry but this item is out of stock'. We are expecting some more in about 4 weeks, sorry for any inconvenience!

But I've checked every day since (3 and taken screen shots) and their web site still says 'In Stock' next day delivery. Really, honestly? They know they aren't in stock and they know that they can't deliver but let's be underhand and misleading and grab the order and the cash. Beware and give them a wide berth. Go to an honest trustworthy trader

Made a phone call on Monday morning and spoke to Carly in customer care. She was helpful and friendly...and was aware of my post on this forum! I was asked to hold and a couple of minutues later I was told that they'd found one in the stores. The last one in stock! Amazing! I was promised it the following day and yes it duly arrived. However, the two other items (spring assist and in loft handrail) were out of stock...so still waiting for those. Very kindly I was given a discount as they'd not charge me for one of the above items (hope I get them!) as a gesture of goodwill.
Carly was excellent so points earned back...thank you Carly.

They're still advertising these items as 'in stock' for next day delivery! All I ask for is honest honourable and fair trading as a customer. My advice would be to call them and make sure they do have the item.
Quality and price appear excellent and they'll win with this....but they'll ultimately lose if they lose reputation. Advertising and making false claims will damage reputation.

Called in on Monday to try and find out more about installing a loft ladder. Really helpful guy showed me an installed unit and answered all questions as well as printing off an instruction sheet. Excellent

Bought Home Master aluminium scaffold tower. Very light so easy to transport and assemble on my own. Used it to paint, clean gutters and install security lamps on 2 storey house. Platform takes me and tools. Very stable, much safer than ladder with setback. Very happy.

Purchased a 1100 x700 loft ladder and very pleased with product.Required so spoke to Carly at BPS who kindly sent it hinges at no extra cost by post.Very pleased with service

I’ve purchased three loft ladders from this company over the years and have always been extremely pleased with both the quality of the products and the level of service provided. More recently, I needed a spare part, and they went out of their way to accommodate my request. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

The product itself is actually very good. The concertina loft ladder is solid and well made.

Unfortunately, the customer service is extremely poor.

A defective metal pulling pole was delivered with my order. I reported this immediately and was promised a priority replacement, but after weeks of chasing and multiple follow ups, nothing was ever shipped and no tracking was provided. They kept responding to other questions while completely ignoring the actual problem.
Great products, but if something goes wrong, you are on your own.

Will never order from these people again.
Apparently when you include your own height when purchasing the scaffolding for you all to bear in mind.
The 5M scaffolding that I bought is actually 3.8M, when I asked to return it because it was shorter than advertised I was told ‘you’re paying for it’! Then they stopped replying at all when I questioned it.
Do yourselves a favour and go to a professional company because these are a bunch of cheeky lying scammers!

Absolutely delighted with these ladders.

Real piece of kit, used to full height already and felt extremely safe while doing so. The multi use ladder is ideal for height but also when splayed ideal for hedges.

The delivery and the product was done within 24h hours per request and instruction. Delivery driver was most amenable.

Great service, excellent product - well made, killer price from discount on sale, overall I can’t recommend enough. Need some ladders, buy them from here, you won’t be disappointed with the quality or the service!!

We’ll done, it’s hard to get for what you pay for these days, however BPS hit the mark.

Please be very careful, we purchased a new ladder with accessories on the 4th December with advertised Next Day Delivery.
Unfortunately we didn’t receive the ladder for four days, when we did only ladder no accessories as purchased received, and ladder was damaged. Ladder foot twisted including bolt for supporting brace to make it unusable.
Replacement ladder received 17th December, nearly two weeks after order and still none of the purchased accessories.
To top it off the delivery company left ladder outside of property, on a busy road with regular footfall… fortunate it was still there on our return. Plus they had stated a proof of delivery signature/receipt falsely as no one was in!
Been great communication throughout but just awful customer service and follow through.
No doubt, we will now not receive the rest of our order till the New Year!

Firstly, the concertina loft ladder I bought is an excellent quality product and works exactly as expected. I had a slight problem with my measurements and Carly sent out two extra steps to bolt on. Fantastic product. Brilliant backup service. Highly recommend.

Great company to deal with. Ordered the wrong ladder initially and after emailing them, I got a reply very soon after saying the order was cancelled and I had been refunded.

I then ordered the right ladder which, as promised, came the next day with free delivery. Ladder is just the job too

Wrong equipment sent, damaged, poor fulfillment, still not refunded.

Ordered a Scaffold tower.

- 2 packs arrived. Damage on equipment and missing parts. Asked for more parts.
- Arrived, but again not all parts there.
- 3rd delivery arrived. Tried to put tower up...turns out one of the FIRST packs was incompatible with the instructions.
So I asked for a return and refund.
- 2 failed pickups to return. 3rd attempt successful.
-week later still no refund. 6 weeks since purchase. Out of pocket on tape for the return and interest on the transaction sitting on my CC.
-dispute raised with my bank.

Never using this company again. I don't believe the positive reviews either as reading between the lines of them there are clearly issues left right and centre.

I purchased the Grand ladder and that pretty much sums it up. It’s awesome, and when I had a query five years after purchasing Carly sorted it for me politely and swiftly. Just a reminder that being guided by price alone is seldom the best way.

Purchased some tripod ladders earlier this year and one of the legs bent when a branch landed on them. Rang them up and spoke to someone called Carly and she has sent me a new leg out which will be with me in a few days.

Excellent product which I purchased with a large discount offered to me by the company after some poor customer service and a follow up complaint. BPS Depot are one of the few companies that when they do something that is not as good as it should have been they will go the extra mile to put things right. Have total confidence that will treat the customer as a priority and offer a 5 star service. Recommended!

On a few occasions I have contacted BPS regarding replacing a few accessories and I can safely say they have dealt with my enquiries in a quick and timely manor. Thank you guys for your assistance.
