I had a fantastic experience with Lægerne Danmark at their Store Kongsgade location. The service was excellent from start to finish. My doctor, Paula, was exceptionally kind, friendly, and thorough. She made sure I felt well cared for and was wonderful with setting up the follow-up for my further check-ups.

Flat out the best GP care in Denmark. I have lived here for three years, and have yet to find another doctor half as caring, helpful, and responsive as Dr. Paula. Really, I can’t say enough good things. Whether you’re here visiting or looking for longer term care with a doctor who actually cares, this is the practice.

Dr Paula Ferri provided a level of attention and care that I was not getting from my appointed GP, and now I am on adequate treatment for a serious medical condition that suddenly emerged. I became ill during a vacation in Copenhagen and had trouble accessing the Danish health care system. Eventually I discovered Doctors in Denmark, aka Laegerne Danmark and was able to schedule a next day appointment with Dr. Paula Ferri. As a retired health care professional from the USA, I can tell you that Dr. Ferri was an excellent diagnostician and an empathetic and very kind provider. She has also continued to communicate with me, even after I returned to the USA, to make sure I am getting appropriate follow up.

The doctor was efficient and kind. I am impressed by the whole process.

I had a work-related wrist injury, and unfortunately my experience with my GP, Dondu Alici, was extremely disappointing. I was sent back to my demolition job without a referral, even though doing heavy physical work with basically one usable hand was unrealistic and, in my view, unsafe.

On the SAME DAY, I went to Lægerne Danmark and saw Paula Ferri Garcia. The difference was immediate. She took the situation seriously, gave me the referral I needed, and also helped me understand what to do regarding work and payment while I was injured.

The physiotherapist I later saw through that referral told me that the injury was serious enough that continuing heavy physical work could risk making it worse, and recommended roughly two months without putting significant strain on my wrist.

To be clear, this is not a criticism of the entire Danish public healthcare system. I can only speak about what happened to me. But in this particular case, the public system failed me when I needed help, while Doctors in Denmark gave me practical help quickly and took my injury seriously.

Based on my experience, I absolutely recommend them. Yes, you have to pay, but when your health is involved, getting fast and competent help can be completely worth it.

The service was fast, well structured and professional, but most of all the psychiatrist I consulted, Dr. Adamapoulos, was extremely experienced and skilled. It really felt like white glove VIP service with the absolute best of care. I would highly recommend for anyone who can't wait for the public sector.

I’am a Canadian in my country the delay to see a doctor is very long. When I decided to see a doctor I get on line and received an appointment within 24 hours. The appointment was for 15 minutes but the doctor took around 30 minutes with me without asking for an extra. On top of that she was comprehensive with my bad English and very professional. If I had to do it again I will choose exactly the same doctor. We were so satisfied that my wife wrote an article for the daily newspaper.
