Very little hot water for showers. Heater, or whatever was powering the heater, was excessively noisy, and we had to shut it off just so we could sleep. Everything else was great.

What a Great experience. Spent 3 nights in this cozy little cabin community. Super clean, mattress was amazing, Jacuzzi was hot. Could not have asked for anything more. We will be back. Owners were very attentive and super nice.

Cabin small but well decorated and stocked. Hot tub was a big plus. Near Asheville but small town of Weaverville had much to offer.

This was the perfect cozy cabin for a romantic couples getaway! We enjoyed the hot tub after along day of exploring Biltmore. The kitchen had all the small essentials we would need for coffee and basic cooking needs. We would definitely come back!

This was our 2nd time staying at the Laurel Mountains Retreat. We love how relaxing and peaceful the area is. We love the Jacuzzi and like sitting on the porch sipping coffee in the mornings and feeling the crispness.
Location is key for us when we travel by car for 10+ hours. This place is central to so many places in the Smokey Mountains you want to get to. Biltmore Hotel, Omni Grove Sunset Terrace. Bryson City is only an hour away to ride the Polar Express train with all the Christmas deco and shops in downtown.
The cabin was spotless clean, and cozy. The fireplace came in handy and added a nice ambiance. All the added touches that the owners do to make your stay enjoyable don't go unseen. We did have Direct TV go out but not for long, once I called Ben, he was on it to get it resolved.
We look forward to our next trip back to Weaverville.

We rented Red Bird and eloped. We needed a witness and Lisa came down to be our witness. I’ve stayed here before and can’t say enough good things about the cabins and the owners! We can’t wait to go back!

Super clean, cute & cozy!

Fantastic cabin. Location was convenient to all attractions, restaurants and shops. Cabin was clean and well equipped. So relaxing to sit by the fireplace or on the porch swing. Definitely going back.

The cabin is very nice and location is great getting into Asheville. Made for a great weekend stay.

It was a wonderful place! Nicely decorated and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The owners were very responsive.

We loved the location and property. The interior needs some updates. New stove, microwave, tea kettle, forks, bigger bed and new mattresses would greatly improve the guest experience. Also, some additional chairs, or second table and chairs. With three of us, someone was always eating in a lap. We were surprised to find no additional pillow cases for the loft bed. Also, only three sets of towels, no extras. The loft mattress also needs to be replaced. Being able to bring the dog along was a great perk, but I don't know that we would stay again.

What a lovely cabin nestled in the woods. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could need. Full refrigerator, dishwasher, fireplace, washer and dryer, all the comforts of home and more. Peaceful, with great views to sip your morning coffee or dinnertime drinks. Can't wait to go back!
