This was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway. We loved the privacy at the cabin and spent hours in the hot tub. We definitely would stay again.

The cabin was located conveniently to Asheville, but we felt like we were completely secluded. Everything we needed was included. 10/10

Bring your banjo, you'll love the view and groundhogs!

We stayed in Elk Path cabin. It was perfect. I wish i could give more stars. The cabin was spotlessly clean, smelled good and appointed wth everything needed for a restful easy stay. We loved the hot tub. The bed is comfortable with soft smooth sheets. The deck is awesome. Perfect location. We highly recommend Laurel Mountain Retreat.

Excellent for a couples get away, clean and close to Asheville!

Booking was easy, check in instructions emailed promptly prior to check in. Directions were well written.

Upon arrival, Home was very clean but the one thing I was slightly disappointed in was the animal smell as soon as you walk in. I know it was listed as pet friendly so that was fully understood at booking, I just didn’t expect the smell. Other than the smell, there weren’t any signs of animal hair or the like, which was appreciated. Would suggest an air purifier at least in the upstairs area - but this did not impact our stay and was not a big deal!

Cabin was very well stocked, had wonderful instructions for everything including the hot tub. Hot tub very clean and was enjoyed each night. We did wish we had more seating on the back patio or the downstairs patio, as there was only 1 & 2 chairs and we had 4 adults.

Cabin in excellent location and easy driving distance to downtown Weaverville and downtown Asheville.

Overall, we had an excellent stay and excited to return in the future! Definitely a hidden gem!!

We loved that the cabin was hidden out of the way although not far from the main road or Weaverville Main St. it was a nice amount of space to spread out a little and still be cozy.

Very nice cabin. Location was very convenient. Cabin was clean and well maintained.

We were so grateful to be able to book this at the last minute. It was clean, hot tub great and the starter set of supplies really helped since we got there so late. Privacy is not an issue even though you are next to other cabins. However, I realize mattresses are a preference and some people like them hard as rocks. But we do not. Neither me nor my husband got a good nights sleep while we were there. We only stayed two nights. The 2nd night we were up at 6am with aching backs and just decided to get an early start. Again, I realize mattress type is a preference. Just a heads up to anyone who likes a pillow top or softer mattress. Some other small notes, the Wi-Fi is bad downstairs, the air conditioner is in the hallway downstairs so you have to sleep with your door open if you want a cool bedroom and the TV is locked so you cannot stream your own channels. Just things to note.

We had an amazing time at this cabin – it felt like home right away. It's a beautiful blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Despite its secluded feel, it's conveniently close to everything we needed. The view from the porch was breathtaking, and we cherished every moment. This cabin is a perfect getaway for couples seeking a cozy and nature-filled retreat.

We had a great stay. The cabin is rustic, cute and clean. If I had one minor complaint it’s the front cabin location to traffic. The cars absolutely speed by that cabin. I might consider a fence for people with pets and kids.
We’d for sure stay there again!

Clean, quiet and quaint.

My husband and I had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at Laurel Mountain Retreat. Our cabin was delightfully cozy and charming. Laurel Mountain Retreat is in the perfect location near two very charming towns: Weaverville and Asheville where we indulged in yummy restaurants and walked around. Also, we were just under an hour away from Pisgah National Forest! We can’t wait to come back and stay longer!

Ben and Lisa were fabulous hosts. They were so considerate to leave and essential package of detergent, paper goods coffee and more. Our daughter stayed at the cabin next store to us with our granddaughter and she asked if there might be a dehumidifier available. When she returned I believe Ben and Lisa purchased a new one for them, thought it was way beyond what they needed to do. I can't say enough nice things about these hosts and the great cabins and peaceful private surroundings. The cabins and hosts are way beyond 5-Star. Thank you Ben and Lisa!

Loved our little weekend getaway with Laurel Mountain Retreat! Our cabin was clean, cozy and the perfect location. Close to Asheville while also enjoying the town of Weaverville.

Very clean and classic cabin in Weaverville, nice quiet location close to town and 10 mins from Ashville. Fresh towels, comfortable bed and lovely green surroundings- very peaceful, would definitely return.

This was an excellent cabin to help with a recent injury. The all accessible ramp and bathroom were very much appreciated. Super quiet location, with ample space for the dog to run and play. Love how easy it was to get into Weaverville, Asheville, and the surrounding mountains.

The Laurel Mountaun retreat was so peaceful, a welcome respite from my travels. I debated staying in Asheville, and I'm glad I chose a quiet place around farms and the hills.

The cabin is nicely curated and stocked with everything you would need, including a hot tub and laundry. The bed was very comfortable. I loved sitting on the porch in the rocker or swing, listening to the birds and watching for deer and bunnies. I travel a lot, and I loved staying here. I would definitely come back again.
Also, Weaverville had some fun shops and great local coffee shops.

Clean, quiet and just far enough outside the city to feel remote but close enough to find anything you need.

Great experience!! Wonderful little place for a getaway! Can’t wait to go back!
