Will not refund my money after sending…

Will not refund my money after sending proof I did not use laybuy to pay for an item but still charging me for over due payments and still trying to take money from my card. Just keep closing the complaint

SCAMMERS

Vile company that clearly preys on vulnerable people! Even after 16 emails back and forth they say they have no correspondence from me. Have charged me for 2 orders that were declined and today i wake up to an email from debt collectors, I will be going to government compaints, papers, magazines and anyone that will listen i have all correspondence and proof from amazon via Email correspondencewith them, shame on you! Disgusting.

why is my account suspended temporarily

Trying to get my account active from being temporarily suspended is a nightmare I’ve tried messaging Laybuy and have checked everything on my account and all is current, I’m not behind on any payments as I haven’t been able to purchase anything…can’t find a phone number to call them … it’s all a little too hard

Scam

Receved a demand (10/5/24) for payment on behalf of Laybuy (UK) from a debt collection company mycrs.co.uk for a debt of £329.15 and if I pay by 22/5 I will only have to pay £263.15.
1) I've never heard of Laybuy.
2) I haven't taken out a loan in over 30 years.
3) My address is incorrect ( but good enough to get here.
4) Obviously I've never had a Laybuy account.
Both Laybuy and Mycrs.co.uk need to look at their security. If no response I will report both of them to the police.

USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE

USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I wanted to use Laybuy again after having a positive experience when I last used it in 2021. My mobile number was connected with my old account and my old email… I could not sign up without my mobile number, it said it was still connected to my old account and there was no option I could do myself. So I simply asked if this could be resolved. What I expecting was a simple answer that yes I can now sign up and my mobile number has been reset... Several emails later they have been nothing but useless! They have reactivated my old email, connected with my old (closed) bank account and told me I’m not eligible! How can I be eligible to a bank account that is closed? This was completely utter nonsense, shows what useless twits aren’t capable of doing their job! I asked for a complaints email and they obviously didn’t want to give me one. Absolutely appalled at this customer service!!! What a shame when I thought it was a good experience before! My simple request has been constantly ignored in several emails now. Nothing but a waste of my time!!! “Jessica from Laybuy”

Financial Hardship being ignored. No response in almost a month! Avoid this company at all costs!

I contacted Laybuy on the 30/04/2024 to advise of financial hardship I was experiencing due to losing my job. I have supplied all necessary information, however I have not received a response since the 08/05. No response from the Laybuy team, but they are more than happy to send me several emails threatening me with debt collectors despite the fact I am currently facing financial hardship. I have emailed Laybuy on 3 separate occasions asking for a response, and have also contacted them via Facebook and Instagram with NO response. This is absolutely disgusting considering your company has an entire webpage dedicated to ‘Finacial Hardship & Assistance’ but not a single person will respond to my emails. This is the type of thing that sends people over the edge, like seriously. Please get your act together.

CUSTOMER SERVICE NON - EXISTENT

Have an ongoing complaint which I am still awaiitng a response from. Basically had 2 orders from Amazon which were cancelled and have been having the payments taken. I have blocked my card now and complained but no response or even acknowledgement of a response. I have incurred maximum fees on both which will NOT be paid and will be escalating to FCA/ Small Claims Court plus extra charges if not sorted.

Pathetic how there is no customer service team or contact number that can help deal with issues before they escalate.

FRAUDULENT DEBT COLLECTION CHARGE

Have been fraudulently charged and contacted by debt collectors CRS for a purchase I have not made. (Ref no available to give when contacted.)

I don't even own a Laybuy account and have never heard of them until today! I would love to know how laybuy has obtained my information and made a purchase when I do not hold an account with them.

No customer service is available at all unless you have an account or have the app, no phoneline, so I have no choice but to go through the debt collector and find out more details.

THIS NEEDS TO BE SORTED!!! Please contact me!

Laybuy are liars & payments still being taken

Laybuy are lying to us all and the truth is none of the retailers we were using the app for are coming back to Laybuy, the person who wrote the review before mine got it completely right plus you can’t pause any payments or do anything so I’m just trying to pay off everything as quickly as possible and have my account closed down for good as this company doesn’t care about their customers or providing a transparent service, also there are too many dodgy things going on, I’ve been making payments for ages yet there still seems to be payments outstanding when I’m sure I’ve paid everything off so if they keep charging me I’ll be making a complaint to financial Ombundsman & will notify my bank and cancel my card as I won’t have payments keep being debited from my account when I’ve not purchased anything in so many months! Just seems like something dodgy is going on so I’d advise everyone as others have, to keep an eye on your account & just pay everything off and stop using Laybuy, just stick to either Klarna or Clearpay as they are clearly the bigger and better bnpl companies and I’ve never had issues like this with either of the other companies. Honestly Laybuy needs to get shut down once & for all here in the UK it’s not right taking peoples money when you’re not providing any kind of service or support for us any more

Think this company may be scammers

Have reported this company to the police as l think they are scammers.
Received a letter from a debt recovery company working on behalf of laybuy ( never received any other correspondence). This was sent to my old address that l moved from 2 years ago.
The name was also slightly incorrect.... l thought that when a person applied for credit that their name and address was checked against the voters register? That's why l think this may be a scam .

Refund procedure is appalling!!!

Very unhappy with the refund procedure. Always paid my instalments on time. When I received a refund from Amazon, so called CS people from Australia didn't bother to help me at all. Tones of messages and stopped replying to me. I was told they can't find my order in their system despite the payment proof sent, showing the number of the LB prepaid digital card. Now they trying to steal £33 from me, probably their "business" uses any method to generate income. I hope they will cease to operate in UK very soon. Go and do business in Australia, maybe there cheating customers is acceptable.

Humans are definitely better than bots

The response to my initial email was prompt, thankfully, as I was totally over the computer generated answers and getting infuriated ;-) Everything got quicker and better as the communication began and the explanations were easy to understand and my problem was solved in less than 10 minutes.

Laybuy have removed all the shops that…

Laybuy have removed all the shops that I regularly used. So the app is not really any use to me now. I can’t use Amazon, m and s, boohoo etc, the shops left on the app are no good to me anymore. Absolutely gutted as liked being able to pay in 6.
