Microbakery and baking classes. LEKITO is an award winning microbakery, specialising in a small range of wonderful breads, tarts, cakes and buns. We believe in Real Bread, no preservatives or other additions commercial bakers use. Artisan bread and pastries. We bake to order and also attend markets where the Lekito stall is always popular. In 2022 we won a Gold Award at the World bread Awards. We also love to teach bread baking in small friendly classes with award-winning baker, Keith Kirby. Classes are in Keith’s own kitchen in Wavendon, where participants learn a range of skills and get to bake a variety of breads or other bakes. Every class is hands-on, and everyone goes home with lots of things for friends and family to try, along with recipes. And a life-skill that will last forever!

I ordered some cinnamon buns
I ordered some cinnamon buns, a chocolate babka and a prosciutto and mozzarella couronne. I found myself in food heaven and can not recommend Lekito highly enough. Customer service from Keith was fantastic from start to finish. A very happy customer here!

Lovely freshly baked bread
Lovely freshly baked bread. An excellent bakery with a local delivery service, offering a good range of different loaves and cakes with a different "special" available each week.

The first order I have had
The first order I have had, I have frozen the focaccia ( spending a few days with my grandchildren ) but had the sourdough , it was delicious, will certainly be ordering again

Thanks for your review! Quick tip - when you take the focaccia out of the freezer and it's defrosted, best to pop it in the oven for 20 minutes at 180C.

A super yummy experience!
This an excellent company. They produce great quality products. We tried the two of the flavoured focaccia loaves which made great lunches for the boys. We tried two of the loaves (rye and sourdough) which were delicious. If you want something sweet the chocolate babkas were fabulous! Delivery was prompt and efficient. The whole transaction was one that I hope to repeat soon! Yum!
