Lemon Squad Avis 

Zero communication, other than an ETA shown instantly after placing the order on Saturday. The ETA was for Monday, but there was zero contact with the seller or updates on the site. On Tuesday, I finally talked to an (outsourced call center) rep who was going to call the inspector to find out the real ETA. Received notification that it would happen later that day. I understand scheduling difficulties, but we've been in close contact with the seller, and they have made it clear that they will be available at any time for the inspection. I'm mostly annoyed that the seller is holding this vehicle for me, and LemonSquad isn't getting things set up in a timely manner. Now it's been 24h since the inspection and I still have not got the report.

If Lemonsquad wants to target individual vehicle sellers, then they need much better/tighter logistics. The delays can cause sellers to abandon a potential buyer due to inspection delays. Lemonsquad still makes money but it's not good for their customers.

Giving them money was easy enough. Getting what I paid for isn't.

Submitted an inspection order over the weekend. It's now Wednesday and their "ETA" of yesterday has passed without the onsite inspection at a dealership being completed. I've been in contact with the dealership and they haven't heard from anyone wanting to schedule an inspection.

The daily emailed "status updates" from Lemon Squad are non-specific, therefore not helpful. They're just a way to keep you pacified while you wait...and wait.

If they can't get their act together and retain inspectors that complete timely work, they're going to be refunding a lot of payments.

UPDATE: It's now Friday and another inspector had to be assigned. Their ETA has now changed to next week. For more than 1 hour I've been trying to get through on the phone to cancel the inspection and get a refund issued. Their phone keeps ringing and I keep getting disconnected. "Lemon Squad" indeed.

Contacted a local mobile mechanic company and someone is already on-site less than 90 minutes after I called.

Confidence, 3rd party point of view, gave me visibility of future repair expenditures.

My experience was great because of the awesome feedback on the connectivity they had with the dealership before the inspection. I would have liked a quicker turnaround though for the results of the inspection but overall the service was great

The inspector didn’t do a lot of things such as he didn’t know how to operate the components on the RV . I had a friend go by and testing the RV out himself. I called you all and never got a return call. I’m calling better business bureau !

Thorough review of vehicle.

It took too long to get the report from the date of the inspection, there was no power available to test AC, refridgerator etc. There should be a notification to me to have it rescheduled with the seller. That was the primary reason to have an inspection. The report referenced 120 pictures and specific pictures like #207, but the pictures were not numbered. I would have liked to talk to the inspector but no contact info provided

The process was quick and smooth, but the inspector missed a lot of things that should have been caught. The tires were rated as "No issues", but there was a divot in the sidewall of one of the rear tires that required replacement. Also, the test drive noted the suspension as good, but the shocks are completely shot, requiring $2k worth of work. The truck bounces like crazy, there's no way a test drive didn't show that.

Trying to contact you is very impossible. Im always getting disconnected when trying to talk to a live person. After going over the report I have notices some problems with the report that was not in the report. The age of tires and on the passenger 2nd axles there most have been a blowout because its a hole in the guard. Plus you couldn't find the DOT number on the same axle tire was placed wrong .

Easy to get ordered and results are very satisfied!

The testing, videos, and pictures are exactly what someone needs when making a costly purchase sight unseen. It saved me lots of headaches and expense.

First of all can’t talk to anybody about my inspection totally inatticate it’s superficial at best never use you again

You basically stole my money and sent me a bunch of photos of my car that i already have.

The report itself is done well. You receive plenty of pictures. I was impressed with the structure.

The person selling us the vehicle said they were easy to work with when they came and did the evaluation.

At times, it was unclear though, if and when we would receive the evaluation. More clarity in the section would be helpful.

Antoine, the mechanic who went to look at my new vehicle. He made me comfortable with the purchase. After speaking with him and not even having the report yet. I made a decision to at least get on the plane to go lok at the vehicle(2019 toyota 4runner).

Report contained no new information from my original test drive of the car. Identified issues (e.g. knocking in engine on start-up) without any analysis of root cause, cost to repair, or anything actionable. Zero value.
