My experience was great, because they delivered what they promised! The inspector was timely and thorough and identified several problem areas that the dealer had masked in his online offering. The use of tools like tire depth indicators and especially the digital camera were clear and used with great effectiveness. Even the digital packaging of the report with compressed photo files that were easily opened and managed by my phone indicates the level of professionalism Lemon Squad values and delivers to their clients.

Service is prompt and they deliver what they promise, but there is absolutely no customer service. None. You cannot message them. Calling the 866 number is useless. Once you place an order you are in the system. You get what they deliver when they deliver it and you have no ability to ask questions.

Inspector was very knowledgeable and provided a detailed report. He also spoke to us after the inspection and gave us additional information about the report. I highly recommend LemonSquad and our inspector👍👍!!

The inspection was thorough and showed me exactly why NOT to buy the vehicle we were looking at. I will use Lemon Squad every time now!

Easy to schedule and a very thorough inspection

They missed reporting a cracked window. After paying for and receiving an inspection through LemonSquad we viewed the vehicle in person and there was a giant crack down one of the windows that was never reported. We looked back at photos from the inspector and the crack was there, during the inspection. We followed up to inquire why it was never reported and they claimed their report was accurate and did nothing more. This alone is enough to never give them our business again, but beyond that, the entire process was overly impersonal. They were difficult to get a hold of, you can't speak to a human unless a report is already opened, no questions, no explanation, no follow-up. We have worked with a number of other inspectors and they were the worst, by a long shot. We don't recommend using LemonSquad.

The technician came out and inspected my vehicle. The report was very detailed.

Worn Axle Splines: A very common issue on the Leaf is worn splines on the front axle where it mates with the electric motor's drive gear. This causes a slipping feel, clunking, or complete loss of power when accelerating or braking.Worn Gearbox Fluid: Although it is an electric motor, the reduction gear box uses fluid (often automatic transmission fluid or gear oil). Low, degraded, or contaminated fluid can cause gears or bearings to slip, whine, or fail.

Your contractor rescheduled 3 times to where I almost lost my truck purchase due to yalls lack of care to do your job correctly!!!

I am filing this complaint due to Lemon Squad’s failure to provide the services I paid for, the lack of communication, and the inability to reach anyone who can resolve the issue.

After placing my order, I expected the inspection to be completed within the timeframe advertised on their website. Instead, I experienced repeated delays, inconsistent updates, and no meaningful communication from customer support. Attempts to reach Lemon Squad by phone, email, and their internal messaging system have gone unanswered or resulted in generic responses that did not address the actual problem.

Despite paying for a professional inspection, I did not receive the service as described. The company has not provided a clear explanation, has not offered a resolution, and has not refunded my payment. Their customer service line either disconnects, places callers on endless hold, or routes to representatives who cannot provide answers or escalate the issue.

This experience has caused significant inconvenience, financial impact, and loss of confidence in the company’s advertised services. Lemon Squad’s lack of responsiveness and unwillingness to resolve the issue leaves customers with no option but to escalate publicly.

My appointment was rescheduled twice, once the car was not available, the second time the technician rescheduled it to next day, I got the notice by E mail but would of liked to get more detail for the reasons that it was cancelled. And when the inspection was being performed would of liked a live video call with the technician so i can ask questions and where to see and look on the car which I had requested to have a call when the technician was there. just to be fair The rescheduling could be the dealers fault and the technicians.

I planned to purchase a vehicle and needed inspection. I paid for the inspection, it has been four days, and the dealership is not contacted even though I provided all the contract info, address and even VIN (optional). The vehicle I am interested in may be sold because of their delay. When I call, AI tells me the process. Hard to get humans.

Pretty much the worst customer service experience I’ve had in years. Good luck getting someone to help you when things go wrong.

My report was 2 weeks late, contained useless information (they didn’t even start the car), and I was refused a refund.

I wouldn’t recommend Lemon Squad to anyone.

I hired Lemon Squad for a pre-purchase inspection before buying a vehicle (Order #895194), and unfortunately the inspection missed multiple major safety and mechanical issues that became obvious almost immediately after purchase.

On my drive back to home from the place I met the seller in another state, the vehicle had severe vibrations at highway speeds. After taking it to a tire shop, I was informed that 3 tires were worn down to the cords, including one with exposed wires on the inner sidewall(and that one showed as an excellent tire 8/32 on inspection) This was an extremely dangerous condition that should have been clearly identified during the inspection.

I replaced all 4 tires, completed an alignment, and attempted balancing twice, spending around $1,500 so far just trying to make the vehicle safe to drive. The vibration still continued, so I took it to a wheel specialist, who confirmed that one of the wheels was cracked and irreparable. I was told the vehicle was unsafe to drive in its current condition, and replacement wheels for this model start around $1,200 each.

In addition to that, the brake pedal feels spongy and sinks excessively under pressure, which is another serious safety concern that was not noted in the report. Shortly after purchase, the check engine light also came on and required service.

I contacted Lemon Squad multiple times by email and also submitted feedback through their website, but I never received any response. That part has been especially disappointing considering the seriousness of the issues involved.

I understand inspections cannot predict every future problem, but severely worn tires with exposed wires and a cracked wheel are visible safety-related issues that should not have been missed in a professional pre-purchase inspection.

The inspection was scheduled and completed within a day. The inspector seemed thorough, doing a test drive, inspecting tires, and capturing many photos. This gave us some peace of mind purchasing the car sight unseen

I needed a Pre Purchase Inspection before I made an offer on a car and local mechanics were not available. So I decided to use lemon squad despite some of the negative reviews. My experience was very positive! My mechanic basically went to the dealership the next day and wrote up a report by that evening! I had all the information I needed and was able to give the dealership an offer. Thank you so much for giving me the peace of mind to do so!

My experience with lemon squad was absolutely amazing!!! The original car I had selected was sold before lemon squad could arrive. I found another car and the process of them examining the new vehicle was great!!! Thanks to lemon squad for the complete inspection of the vehicle because of them I bought the car!!!
