At Lifeforce Organics, our commitment to the highest standards of food safety and quality is paramount. It is important to us that our customers are aware that items are only placed on sale, such as the Brazil nuts in question, when they are close to their best-before date. This practice is a reflection of our dedication to reducing food waste while still providing our customers with exceptional value.

Prior to making the decision to sell products beyond their best-before date, we undertake a rigorous process that includes laboratory testing for water activity. This test is crucial in determining whether there is any concern regarding food safety or quality. As our nuts are activated, removing 99% of their water content, the best-before dates often serve merely as guidelines. The activation process effectively ensures that the quality and freshness of our nuts extend well beyond the stated date.

We only decide to continue selling products after thorough evaluation and additional testing to confirm that there are no food safety issues. Once we are fully satisfied that the product remains safe and of high quality, we then offer it at a reduced sale price.

In recognition of the concerns you have raised, we have issued a full refund for the Brazil nuts in your order.
