My advice is ‘Read and understand’ the T&Cs, this means that goods can be sent out that are far from perfect and nails not hammered flat is considered “Rustic”

We ordered a Jali Sheesham drum chest of drawers and had to chase delivery right before Christmas as it wasn’t the few day delivery we thought we were getting. We were told it was sent via Parcelforce and they should have told us it was coming that day as it was a service they laid them for and they would contact us. They didn’t and it arrived end of that day and we had no communication, it was just lucky as we were heading out the door.

Sadly the unit had nail heads poking out the top, we raised a complaint to be told it’s in the T&C’s to expect this…who reads T&C’s these days when buying items of furniture …
As per our T&C:

All our furniture is made from quality natural wood and accordingly appearances may vary. Some woods will mellow with age and exposure to sunlight. When you are purchasing our furniture, you are buying handmade furniture where varying degrees of distressing is generally applied. This is very much intended and makes each piece totally individual as desired by the craftsmen. We sell some ranges which are rustic designs with varying degrees of distressing from piece to piece; this may involve wood splits, wood filling, knots, purpose distress/scratch marks, antiquing etc. Certain degrees of filler will be used on Indian, sheesham and oak furniture, this is common and very much part of the manufacturing process. Please note that our Indian items are usually of a very rustic nature and a heavy distressing is usually applied, this may appear as a dulling or rubbing effect to the waxed finish, knotty and grainy woods are used, this is as intended by the supplier. Sheesham wood, which is used in the Jali and Cuba Sheesham ranges is characterised by contrasting light and dark wood tones. The variety and patterning of the tones is unique to each piece, and this is very much part of the natural appeal of these rustic pieces.

Anyway they offered to send out some complimentary stain worth £25 on 20th Dec, it never arrived! We accepted rather than do a return and thought we will try to bang nails down and stain fill the area.

I chased last week they said they would resend…it took a week to come. We really cannot say we were overly impressed I am afraid, our this experience could have led to more purchases but this experience has been off putting. All our furniture is Indian Rosewood, Sheesham & Mango wood, so it was a new one on us that nails being left not banged in should be acceptable. Whilst Taz in customer services was always very responsive and we truly appreciated that, the whole experience was not great.

Absolutely delighted with my mirror…even nicer than it looked on the website. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. There was no delivery charge and it was super quick. I don’t usually leave reviews but the service was so good I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again and can’t recommend them highly enough! *****

I have received a damaged item in delivery and emailed the customer service on the same day about it with proof of damages to the stool as well as the packaging. I was emailed back saying they have arranged another delivery on 1 December but it’s now showing up as not dispatched from the supplier. The first delivery driver did not even knock on my door and had left the damaged stool in front of my main house door which is even worst.I am still waiting for the item to arrive in new condition. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience!!

I'd read mixed reviews of this site. However they were the only site that had what I wanted and reasonably priced too. I paid for my storage footstool and crossed my fingers. Soon after I got dispatch notification that DHL would deliver my item. This arrived two days later. Box was in perfect condition and with the item was bagged too. The material is really good quality and a pretty good match to my sofa. The only thing I had to do was add pads to the plastic feet to protect my wood floor - a picture of feet would have been a good idea on website as this was not in the description (that you will find if you look at the teal version). I will definitely consider this company in the future.

Last year, I purchased a set of 3 interconnected recliners. After some time, I discovered that the wire of the middle recliner had broken, leading to damage to the leather. As soon as I noticed this issue, I contacted the company to report the problem and took measures to keep the recliner separated from the others to prevent further damage. The company instructed me to bring the recliner to their store for repairs, which took a lengthy 3 weeks to complete. However, I was disappointed to learn that they were unwilling to address the damaged leather as part of the repair process.

My argument stems from the fact that the damage was clearly caused by a faulty part – the broken wire. As such, I believe the company is under a definite obligation to fully rectify the situation. Not only should they have fixed the wire, but they should have also addressed the leather damage that resulted directly from the malfunctioning component.

Ordered 4 chairs in error, wanted to return but they won’t collect free of charge and expect a ridiculous fee for collecting!
Chairs havn’t even been touched!
Not impressed at all with this company!!

Bought a bedroom suite from these guys in the past and just bought a new 3 piece suite and dining furniture. Couldnt be more helpful. Going out of there way to get me the colour and design i preferred. Very friendly and approachable and very good range of products, not just furniture which was great! :)

Lifefurniture was very good but the guys who delivered it was late delivering my couch was not happy
