Dirty rotten scumbags would not even leave an animal in their care, this place needs closed down
Terrible management extremely unprofessional, staff made to feel extremely uncomfortable on a daily basis. Do not go anywhere near this company

Don’t bother applying if you want somebody that respects you. They are a bigoted company who only look at your background and not your overall ability to do the Job. It’s disgusting really that there is a shortage of staff in the care industry and that my past which was non criminal was to much for them. It’s disgusting that we have so many people that want to work and this company is failing them in so many ways it’s not funny. So much for equal opportunities.

This company runs supported living facilities with a lack of responsible managers. As a staff member, I noticed several racist and inefficient managers sitting on a computer in the office all week without offering any help to team leads. Their pay system is awful and staff are never paid on time. They also hire very incompetent staff which has led to several care inspectorate investigations in Scotland. Their managers and regional managers are all incompetent and negligent. Overall not a good place to work or access support.

I was interviewed for a position of an IT Service Desk (on a Friday) , the interview went very well and all questions were answered with full context and a way the the interview panel could understand and was told I would hear back by this week. My experience is 3 years within an IT Service with a VAST amount of knowledge on the application they asked me about (Active Directory). On the following Monday I was telephoned by one of the representatives informing me that I wasn’t successful and refused to give me feedback as to the reason, nor anything to work on going forward. When I asked what went wrong, they blamed a stronger colleague who was more successful. When asked a specific question , she told me they don’t focus on customer service, which is where I failed. The company doesn’t focus on customer service, they focus on whatever they like by the sounds of it. When I questioned “ don’t you mean candidate instead of colleague ”, she replied no and put the phone down - which is evident by how I was spoken to.
I emailed them asking for feedback and was replied back with the exact same answer.
I wouldn’t recommend applying for this company nor working for them at all.

I managed six months with this company and sort my mental health decline over that time. My partner was really worried about me and we agreed I would leave and I don’t even have another job to go to. It was that bad.
Is it clique of people who are the Manager likes and they seem to be able to do what they want. Mean girls vibe. They treat the people we supported so bad. All they cared about was money. All the manager cared about was making sure there’s no vacancies because she wouldn’t get her bonus. They accept anybody even if they can’t really look after them properly.
I was bullied at the company. I tried to go to HR, but they said it was my problem to speak to the manager. Yeah great, it was the manager who was bullying me along with her cronies.
By the way, the manager pressured everyone into giving reviews because apparently they’re trying to be employer of the year. I’ve never heard anything so ridiculous. So they want good reviews because they’ve got so many bad ones. She kept badgering me and wanting to see what I wrote. I really didn’t want to leave a good review because I don’t believe it. I know other people wrote stuff they don’t believe just because she was pressuring them. So here’s my review. Hope you like it.
Avoid this company, if you care about service users because Lifeways don’t, and avoid this company, if you care about your own mental health. They shouldn’t even be allowed to be in business they are so bad.
I am totally skint. I have no income. I am lucky I’ve got my partner to help me. But I’d rather go to food banks, than work that place a second more.

Deputy manager within the Northamptonshire area.
Thoroughly enjoy my job and working for the company. Really care about the values and have the best interest of the clients and the staff. I have worked myself up the ladder and have had continuous support throughout my time. 4 years down and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
My brother is in Grove Court Shepton Mallet. He has been there 3 years and gained 3 stone. This has effected his health and I have had to get his GP involved.
On Friday when I went to pick up my brother for the weekend I found him wandering down towards the main road with no shoes on. Due to his disability lifeway's are being paid for one to one care yet no support staff were around. I dread to think what could have happened it's so scary when you put your trust in a family member being looked after properly. The manager did apologise & explained they had staffing problems. This always seems the case with Grove Court.
Today I have had to do a deep clean on my brothers flat as it was in an absolutely disgusting state. Food in the fridge was out of date by many weeks, floors filthy & generally not fit for someone to live in. I have reported all of this to adult social care on Friday so hopefully we can get him away from lifeways ASAP.
I have also reported this all to the area manager but in previous experience with her I really feel they care more about the money they receive than looking after the people they are suppose to be supporting.
*** 20.12.24 Received this report from safeguarding at Somerset county council after they carried out their own investigation.
Conclusion and outcome:
Based on the information gathered within the enquiry, the concern in relation to neglect and acts of omission and organisational abuse is substantiated.
This is not me feeling this way is it Natasha Silwood. This is fact !

I worked at Lifeways for 6 years, the tenants were lovely. Management were unprofessional, not qualified and bullies towards staff and tenants. Tenants were manipulated by management and staff, so the activities they chose to do aligned with what management/staff could be bothered doing. Awful company, I would never have a loved one under Lifeways care. It’s an easy job to get, therefore most staff in my experience are there for the money - they do not care about the tenants or having a positive impact in their lives. Avoid!
I am so very pleased that Lifeways will no longer be supporting me from today (Wednesday 3rd July 2024). In my experience in the time Lifeways supported me they’re an extremely rubbish care provider in the UK and enjoy bullying the people they support, when you make a complaint about anything they cover up theses complaints to make out they’ve done nothing wrong.
I’ve been bullied by the service management as well as the ones in head office continuously since being supported by them. I was previously supported by Ordinary Lifestyles and then Creative Support before coming to Lifeways, in my opinion and experience these two other care providers are very much better than Lifeways.
This Placement has so many Issues
I would rate it 0 stars if that was possible
but lets start
mental health support something i moved in to get support with 0/10, After being informed by my personal advisor, that I needed welfare checks and a MAJOR incident where i blocked my door with my sofa and was threatening to hurt myself there was No welfare checks done
there is such a culture of fear in my placement regarding speaking out, and this is due to the manager, Now most staff are good and I try take all of them, unfortunately there are exceptions, two new hires walked off during my support and did not return, then there are issues im having with my support in general, That being despite the manager knowing which ones i take and do not take I seem to get the only 3 staff I point blank refuse to take more often than not resulting this week in me only getting an hour of support in the whole week, things did improve after a different incident i had a while ago where a meeting was used to bully me, which led to me leaving the placement for 2 weeks, now all of this was improving with a staff member brought in to help the situation but shortly there after she was removed, and things nearly immediately went back to how they where before then, if not worse, now again there is a culture of fear around speaking out about these issues and i cant be 100% sure i wont be kicked out for posting this HOWEVER and i will say this as a fact, at this point i do not care if im kicked out, i only care that lifeways see this and improve the placement that either i live in or used to live in depending if i get kicked out
and if they do want to investigate I emplore them to reach out to me so i can send them the scheme this has occured in and they can ensure I wont be kicked out

I wrote a review and Lifeways didn't like it stating it was harmful and illegal ! No it wasn't! Exactly the response I expected. Staff are nothing. Money is all they are interested in. I feel sorry for are concerned clients and staff!
Lifeways Qualityalerts need to look at the posted reviews and realise that 91% of people cannot be lying about the bullying that goes on in these services. Instead of telling people to approach a Manager who in most cases is the bully, they need to radically review the people they employ. In most cases the manager is far too young and has no life experience and cannot deal with situations that occur, so they send you to another service as you are seen as a problem. Services are a shambles with care plans years out of date and risk assessments virtually non existent.
I have been bullied by all of the staff and been treated unfairly at All Saints house in Leamington spa, also the old manager of All Saints House called Natasha Pender was not very nice to me either she bullied me to and so did the new manager called Abbie, staff have recently interfered in friendships I had with some of the other tenants they have ruined any friendships I had with them, I have not enjoyed my time at All Saints House and I will be happy when I leave and go to live in the new place I am moving to.

Lifeways (Burton Upon Trent) promised a dream job with supportive leadership and dedicated colleagues. Instead, I found myself trapped in a toxic nightmare managed by a power-hungry baby and their sycophantic deputies.
Here's the truth:
Favoritism runs rampant: Forget merit, training, or overtime. These are bribes for the manager's lapdogs.
Bullying thrives: Speak up about unfair treatment? Prepare to be gaslighted, ostracized, and punished with menial tasks.
Management is AWOL: the Registered manager is an untouchable god, deaf to pleas for help. Complaints languish for months, ignored or shrouded in secrecy.
Prejudice festers: Lifeways tolerates a culture of discrimination and stereotypes.
HR sleeps at the wheel: They're lazy investigators, leaving staff powerless against tyrannical managers.
The result? Devastated morale, exploited workers, and a company that prioritizes profit over people.
I loved the residents, but the leadership made Lifeways unbearable.
Lifeways, it's time to wake up. Empower your staff, dismantle the culture of fear, and hold managers accountable. Don't let your amazing residents down.
This is just one branch. How many more stories are out there?

Am not happy about the way I have been treated in supported living at all saints house in Leamington spa, people have not been very nice to me staff and residents and I am being thrown out unfairly by inclusion housing.
I have not enjoyed my time living here, I am glad to be moving out and being away from nasty members of staff and trouble causers.
My fiance has lived in foden veiw in sandbach for long time now and the staff and managment has been making his deprestion and mental health worse . The staff has been trying to look for a fight with him. When he goes out with staff the staff try to use my fiance for his money and same when he goes on transport they want residents to pay for them its a form of finatial abuse Residents should not have to pay for staff. And my poor fiance dont get fead witch is totaly out of order. on alot of events they say its going ahead and then it gets counciled. They should keep promisses. Then the staff and managment tells him to do this carbodioxi and they said we got to do it and its only ment to be done 1nce a week seems to be going on every day witch not impressed with and keep setting alarms off on perpase. My fiance keeps getting mithered about food shop and he shouldent have to do watt he dosent want to.
