What a Complete mess

What a Complete mess

Why do you think you are above the law you Have a legal time frame to refund when a customer requests this

I have a email dated 4th March your refund will be with you within 14 days

I have now been waiting 7 week for a over payment of council tax
3 times I have called to be told next week

An your waiting for the account team to issue it

Yet still no refund 7 weeks later on date no to be told today they still have not done it an some one will get back to you when it is done

Love what u can find on Google

Refunds from a local council, particularly for overpaid Council Tax, typically take between 5 to 21 working days to process, though some may take longer if verification is required. Most councils process these requests via BACS within 10–20 working days.

If it was me owing you money I'd have a content court judgement
Against me

All the staff don't have a clue what they are doing constantly putting customer on hold to come back with I'll send a message

Why don't you open up some offices instead off seeing off public building so customers can go into a office an get it sort out in a day like the good old days off councils caring about residence of there city

The Municipal building was a great assent where residence could go and get thing sorted in a day now sold off and no offices in town to get anything sorted our quickly

So you broke law

Can someone Get back to me with what is going on
And a real reason
Surely if you send a letter out stating a over payment it is matter of pressing a button to issue the refund as the system will be upto date at the issue off letter ?

If not you really need to invest in some uptodate computers
And staff that can use them

Beware when parking in Liverpool

Beware when parking in Liverpool — and please don’t make the same mistake I did.
My husband has a serious disability, and I thought I’d take him into Liverpool for a lemonade to lift his spirits. I parked in a disabled bay and displayed our Blue Badge correctly. I was utterly shocked to return to a parking ticket claiming that no badge had been displayed.
I spoke with the traffic warden who confirmed that he had seen the Blue Badge but explained that I hadn’t displayed the time clock. He acknowledged this was a genuine mistake, showed real understanding of my husband’s disability, and even recorded notes on his system advising me to dispute the ticket and not to pay.
I left feeling relieved, believing that common sense and compassion would be applied. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
My appeal to Liverpool City Council was rejected. I then contacted my MP, but the Council again refused to overturn the fine. Despite clear mitigating circumstances and the warden’s own notes, the decision stood.
In my opinion, Liverpool City Council’s approach shows a complete lack of flexibility, empathy, and understanding toward disabled people. Disabilities can affect decision-making and daily functioning, and this needs to be recognised — not punished.
Liverpool City Council would benefit greatly from further training on disability awareness and from treating disabled residents and their carers with compassion and fairness.
A deeply disappointing experience from a truly uncaring, and despicable organisation. Liverpool City Council putting making money ahead of looking after residents.
P.S Trust Pilot please allow us to leave a score of Zero.

Rude employees.

Rude employees.
Fortnightly bin collection day I was watching them emptying Wheely bin when a piece of paper fell out and the cretinous individual (wimp) on skilled wages for pushing a wheeled contaption, no training necessary,(handles pointing towards them for their convenience or they throw a tantrum and refuse to handle it and leave them in a disarray blocking pavements) saw it, looked at it and with his glass back refused to bend down and retrieve it.

Rang the depot and they refused to help because I £idn't want to give my personal details including weight, height, shoe size etc. I don't give two figs, they're demanding too much information these days and they get triggered if you criticise, like most organisations, their colleagues and it will probably be a hate crime one day just like the YouTube dislike button hides thumbed down videos so as not to offend.

Being a single person in my 60s it takes me takes me 6 to 8 weeks to fill it before I put it out for collection. I could ask, a cost to which I did not agree to, the price demanded and not to provide me this service (I would dispose my rubbish, one small carrier bag per week, at my place of employment) and also request not to demand council tax but that's a big no no.

Awful customer service as usual

Awful customer service as usual. On their web chat, they keep asking "are you still there?".
I reply yes and get no response over and over.
The link to their landlord portal never works. I was told you can't click on the link, you have to copy and paste it into your browser. It still doesn't work.

Cash grabbers

Absolute idiots , I assume the liverpool elite drive , if lights turn to red and you're stranded in a box junction surely a bit of common sense must be applied, not in Liverpool apparently, scumbags.

We parked at Liverpool docks for the…

We parked at Liverpool docks for the scattering of ashes for a close family member, a very emotional day. We parked at a payment meter, unbeknown to me the ticket had no print on it and was blank, I assumed it was the back of thd ticket and displayed the back side. We came back to a parking ticket. I contested the ticket 2 twice with the council, both times they stated I have to pay because it was displayed the wrong way, I went to the parking tribunal and they said, even if I displayed the ticket thd correct way, I would have still received a ticket haha, are liverool council printing blank tickets to create revenue? Also no offer of a refund for my ticket that I paid for, if the ticket was invalid displayed either way, pure corruption and this is my councils are failing, because they fail to perform with honesty, empathy and conscience

Discriminatory and Neglectful Towards Disabled People

I strongly believe Liverpool City Council has discriminated against me because of my disabilities. I have multiple diagnosed conditions, including ADHD, Autism, OCD & Tourette’s to name a few. Instead of providing reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010, they have chosen to exclude me.

I was banned from contacting all departments because of behaviours directly linked to my disabilities, for example making multiple contacts with them, which was 31 phone calls to the leaders office in a 6 month period, despite repeatedly explaining my conditions and requesting adjustments. Rather than supporting me, they treated my disability-related struggles as misconduct and shut me out by imposing a ban on me making contact.

This could be seen as direct discrimination and would show a complete failure in their duty of care. Public bodies are legally required to support disabled people, not punish them for symptoms of their conditions. They were provided with medical and professional proof of my disabilities.

I am posting this review to make others aware of how Liverpool City Council treats disabled residents in my view. If you are vulnerable or neurodivergent, be cautious when dealing with them and maybe ask for an appropriate adult to help make contact so you have a whiteness of potential mistreatment.

City Council has introduced Moving Traffic enforcement

I have just picked up a Moving Traffic Contravention Penalty charge in Liverpool. These Powers were previously solely granted to the City of London to enforce moving vehicle contraventions, but Liverpool City Council has secured these powers to generate more revenue for themselves. I never visit Liverpool normally, but was given a gift to attend a Christmas event in the city. As a very infrequent visitor to the City, I didn't notice the signage in a city landscape that is littered with street signs and blighted by confusing traffic routing and kamikaze Taxi drivers. So I picked up a penalty charge. I accept it is completely my fault for not noticing the new signage, but the imposition of such a scheme is counter productive. I've both paid the fine, and cancelled or relocated other activities that were being planned in the City in 2025. Net result? Plus £35 for the City Council, a loss for some of the other businesses in the City. I will take my business to Manchester instead.

This is the Liverpool council website…

This is the Liverpool council website. This council has got to be the most Corrupt council in the UK .

Asking for one more log to go in park due to 4by4 getting on,
The put 4 down would of been two if the bothered listening to Me and not cut up the tree that had fallen down,

Took them 8 years to put 4 logs down ,
Not asking for much i clean the park as the have never had a litter picker in there for 18 years ,
180 black bin bags full of rubbish i pull out in 2 weeks when I first move to the area and I'm cleaning 2 parks now due to no litter pickers this is getting a joke .

Don't get me started on the local roads Lee vale road has to be the worse road in Liverpool.
