The lady in the Guildford store was super helpful and knowledgeable - I didn’t catch her name but thanks to her we ordered a sofa.

The leaflets available in store have all the wrong dimensions on and I’m surprised they have not been removed.
These are produced from web site , which is also wrong .
I thought £95 delivery charge was cheap shot ….how else do you get a sofa….just put the price up .

We visited Loaf Guildford to test a sofa we’d seen online, and had such a positive experience. The shop is huge, bright and well stocked, and it’s so nice to be made welcome with the (glass) water bottles and caramel bars. We were looked after by Joe who was super knowledgeable, helpful and warm. I thought I had done my research but he thought of answers to questions I’d not even come up with yet! For such a big purchase, it was great to have his support and such a nice experience.

First of all - the showroom is so well set out . Colours , samples , ambience . BUT - my goodness what made our experience so good were the staff . We went in on two separate occasions and were greeted warmly by different sets of staff , totally polite , chatty , informative , friendly , calm . Perfect balance of understanding our needs and stepping back to let us browse . We bought a sofa and five cushions , and were so expertly and patiently assisted with advice and suggestions but NEVER felt pressured at all . I'd love to shop with you on a regular basis it was such a nice experience but given that it is such a big purchase - we may just have to go in for a bottle of water and a chocolate biscuit and a chat !

Really good engaging visit especially with Jo ( manager)) who couldn’t have been more helpful resulting in us buying cushions and a mirror. , A real credit too the company.

Have now updated our review to 5 stars as although we had a problem with delivery Loaf have given a goodwill payment. We are happy with the excellent sofa and their customer service.

All fine. Everything about the purchase experience is great. Just hope it wont arrive damaged as last time and cushions wont sink so low we cannot get out of it.

We had a great experience in store at the Guilford branch. We went 2 weeks in a row as we were on a mission to furnish our new forever home. Such a pleasant shopping experience (and we had 2 young children in tow!). All of the staff were friendly but big shout out to Michelle for being a delight and super helpful. Looking forward to our sofas arriving m!

Michelle was very helpful talking us through all our options for the sofa we purchased. There was no pressured selling at all and Michelle was very patient while my wife and I discussed our options. Michelle made shopping for our sofa a very pleasant experience. Thank you

These sofas need constant plumping, otherwise they look terrible and are really uncomfortable. After sitting on it for an hour, it will slump and crumple (see photos) and you have to replump. The plumping process takes ages and is hard work (the cushions are heavy). I have just had a baby and can't physically do the plumping, and I also don't have time to spend on this. So the sofa just looks awful all the time and is so uncomfortable as the back cushion completely collapses and doesn't support your back. The base cushions are constantly lopsided (the inner foam has become twisted) so it hurts your back, as you're sat at a weird angle. I've contacted loaf several times over the years and been dismissed each time, even though if you Google this, it's a common issue with these sofas. Id definitely never buy a loaf sofa ever again.
