Key fob worked perfectly! The price was right.

i bought xhorxe 005l dolphin II and key reader and 3 days later they called me and told me they dont have it in stock but it will be in 3 weeks so i cancelled the order but the worst par is that they keep selling the same product and is not in stock.

Worth the purchase

The Key blanks I ordered did not fit my BMW Motorcycle, though is not entirely Locksmith Keyless' fault. BMW replacement keys are notoriously difficult ... the dealers make it impossible with exorbitant prices. My cycle is manufactured in India, possibly a factor, but BMW m/c's lock sets are worldwide in use. It would take a genius to figure out how to work this problem out. The blanks I received were ILCO, a common replacement key for 1000's of locks I've used many times. Somewhere in their system is the key that fits my cycle. It'll just take some extra effort by someone who really cares. My locksmith, Roadrunner in Tucson went to great lengths to search this out ... unsuccessfully. This is a common problem with European manufactured cars and motorcycles.

Initially: Waste of time - pictures are wrong. Their description says its Toyota OEM and all their specs are a carbon copy of Toyota's exact specs. The only problem is the fob is clearly neither Toyota OEM and apparently the specs are just false. They should neither stock nor sell this item. Or if they took some manufacturer's "word for it" they should know better. I've done marketing in the retail industry for 25 years. Merchandising should never have even stocked this item.

Their page on instructions for how to program key fob literally just says "We are constantly working on improving this website and making more programming instructions available" and has no actual instructions.

They did initially deflect and suggest the issue is with the local automotive locksmith. Which is amazing, since I'm working with an enormous high volume automotive locksmith who are helping dozens of people a week properly getting their backup fobs programmed properly. Toyota requires registration to program, which the locksmith I am working with understands and has been doing for 10+ years. If you sell something that doesn't work, it's not the other vendor's problem, it is YOU knowingly selling something that has NO chance to work, which not only wastes your time, my time, but now an automotive locksmith's time. Why even stock something that is only liability?

I do give high marks for customer service otherwise. They did fully refund in my case, but be warned their policy has a restocking fee. This mitigates my experience, but I still stand by the comment that it was frankly a waste of time, although ultimately not a waste of money.
