Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Our customer service team is always on hand to help with enquiries, and the occasional problem!

We are very sorry to hear that you felt ill after eating this cake.
Our team takes issues of this nature very seriously and do ask, in the very rare instances wherein such issues can occur, that we are contacted within 48 hours so we can arrange a return of the remaining cake for investigation into any issues that could have occurred in our production.
I have been sure to still pass on these details to the relevant teams and have also reviewed the many other cakes prepared from the same batch as we do monitor this to ensure we can detect if any production issues were to occur.
Though we have not seen that any similar feedback has been received from any other customers from this batch, we will continue to monitor this moving forward.

The taste was gorgeous, melted in your mouth. We had the lemon & raspberries cake.
Lemon just so refreshing. All our guests said the same & asked where we brought it.

Saved the day! Incredible customer service at Bluewater
I ordered a birthday cake and some gluten-free cupcakes from Lola's Cupcakes, and the taste and quality were excellent. However, the customer service was what truly mattered.
When collecting my order from the Bluewater shop on Saturday, I accidentally forgot one of the boxes containing the gluten-free cupcakes. I only realized my mistake right before closing time. When I called the shop, the wonderful ladies working there actually stayed behind and waited for me so I could collect them. Since we had gluten-free children coming to the party the next morning, their kindness prevented a total disaster. Thank you so much for the amazing service—you went above and beyond

Easy to order/pick up
Wonderful cake for a great price. We purchased the 'Frozen' style cake for our daughters birthday, she absolutely loved it. Really reasonably priced and delicious cake!

The cake was was dry and crumbly
The cake was was dry and crumbly . It didn't taste fresh at all . It had a funny "fridge" smell and taste . We were quite disappointed

We would like to assure you that our cakes are always prepared fresh for your order using high-quality ingredients to ensure the best experience.
It is recommended that our cakes need at least 2-3 hours out of the fridge before you serve the cake, this could affect the taste and texture similar to you've described if you do not first ensure the cake is out for this time.

Beautiful birthday cake
Beautiful birthday cake. My favourite cake is red velvet but often as a cake companies won’t use cream cheese. Lola uses cream cheese inside and a beautiful buttercream on the outside that doesn’t over power the cream cheese. Defo ordering it again for my wedding

Perfect for kids' birthdays and so reliable!
Lola’s Cupcakes are always our go-to for birthday treats. On top of being delicious, their website provides incredibly detailed ingredient and allergy information. It gives you complete peace of mind when catering for a group of children.

Really good, the cake looked exactly like the picture and tasted good. The pick up lockers are a clever touch! Cake was packaged well in a box and large bag in refrigerated locker.

Highly recommend…
I’ve been ordering my last 2-3 birthday cakes at Lola’s & I love it! The cakes are amazing. It’s fresh, moist and full of flavour! Soon to order a 2 tier cake soon for my baby’s 1st birthday too! I always click and collect so it’s convenient. Even after a 40 minute drive, my cake is still intact! Packaging is really good.
