Honeymoon of a Lifetime
We worked with The Luxury Peru Travel Company back in May 2026 to help plan our honeymoon and what an incredible, life-changing experience we had. David was great but avoid Edgar's adventures
David did a fantastic job of arranging our trip. We hit all the highlights of Peru. David was responsive and very helpful. I would have given them a 5 star review but for the Edgar's adventure tour at Puno and Lake Titicaca, that Luxury Peru arranged. Edgar's was disorganized, chaotic and very frustrating. Lake trip departed at 7:30 AM only to be turned around at 8 AM to pick up more passengers. No explanation give and was very unprofessional but this was not Luxury Peru but another company they booked us with. I would highly recommend Luxury Peru, but request not to use Edgar's adventure tour company while at Lake Titicaca.

We are, however, genuinely sorry that your day on Lake Titicaca was disorganised and frustrating. Although the excursion was operated by a local partner, it formed part of the vacation we arranged, and we remain responsible for the standard of the services we select. Departing and then turning back to collect additional passengers—without any explanation—was neither professional nor the experience you should have received.
We greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will address it directly with the operator and carefully review our future arrangements in Puno.

Excelente experiencia, todo de primer nivel. Realizamos un viaje familiar de 15 personas, de distintas edades, para celebrar los 80 años de mi suegro, y todos quedamos fascinados.
Los guías fueron muy amables y estaban muy bien preparados. Quiero destacar especialmente a Queoma por su paciencia, sus amplios conocimientos y su gran disposición. Diana, de la agencia, estuvo siempre disponible y atenta para responder todas nuestras consultas, tanto antes como durante el viaje.
Todo estuvo perfectamente coordinado, incluso los detalles más pequeños. Sin duda, recomiendo esta agencia 100%.
An excellent experience—everything was first-class. We took a family trip with 15 people of all ages to celebrate my father-in-law’s 80th birthday, and we were all delighted.
The guides were extremely kind and knowledgeable. I would especially like to recognize Queoma for his patience, extensive knowledge, and wonderful attitude. Diana, from the agency, was always available and attentive, answering all our questions both before and during the trip.
Everything was perfectly organized, down to the smallest detail. I would recommend this agency 100%.

This was an awesome vacation where words do not do justice. The Luxury Peru Travel Company went above and beyond at every opportunity. The sights of Peru stand on their own, but the experience was enriched beyond expectations. You will be beyond fortunate to have individuals like JP taking care of your every need in Cusco, he was so great. He deserves a raise (they all do)! Romy and driver Brian showed us so many great things in Cusco and took us on a great hike and we had a fabulous time in Ollantaytambo. At Machu Picchu our guide Eddie was spectacular. We visited the sun gate, Intipunku, and learned so many things that we would not have known if we were on our own or in a big group. That guy is so knowledgeable and his skills and personability are off the charts.
Price was reasonable but the value was fantastic. Because we booked with the Luxury Peru Travel Company, we were treated as VIP's from the moment we stepped off the plane to the time we departed. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to visit this land of wonder and awe.

Amazing experience
Amazing experience! David was so great at communication during planning of the trip and with all of my questions leading into the trip. He remained available by text during our trip, although we never needed him since every transfer and every ticket was seamlessly arranged! The service by every single member of the team in Peru was exceptional and we had our best family vacation to date!! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Terrific Luxury trip to Cusco and Machu Picchu
Our experience with David at The Luxury Peru Travel Company was absolutely outstanding. He planned the perfect luxury trip for us, covering Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu, and every detail was flawlessly executed from start to finish.
The hotels were incredible, the guides were knowledgeable and personable, and all of our private drivers and transfers were punctual, professional, and seamless. We never had to worry about a thing because every aspect of the trip had been thoughtfully planned.

Detailed breakdown of what to expect
We had the best experience with this travel company. We were connected with Diana who did an amazing job helping us tailor the experience to our preferences. With a big purchase communication is important. We were always able to connect when needed before and during the trip. Here is the breakdown of the trip.
Omar was waiting for us upon arrival at the Airport in Lima and private transferred us to our hotel in Miraflores. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. All of the hotels offered are superb to stay at and in safe locations. The next morning our guide Kimberly was on time and took us through the city via private transfer for the gourmet food tour. She was also very nice and fun to be around for the whole day. When finished we were dropped off at the hotel and had a wonderful time walking the coast and the neighborhood of Barranco on our own after getting a taste of the city and the confidence we needed. The next morning Omar picked us up on time and made sure the hotel had a breakfast box ready so we wouldn’t be hungry on our flight to Cusco. He went the extra mile and made sure our bags were checked and took us all the way to the security line. Lima is a big airport and it really took the stress away being taken care of so well. They use Latam Airlines which is extremely reliable. We noticed delays for people using Sky and other carriers.
Upon arrival to the Cusco airport our private transfer was waiting for us and took us to the hotel. We stayed at the Monestario which was the best hotel we’ve stayed at anywhere. Their customer service is out of this world. It’s also really cool on how they remodeled the building into such a great place to stay while retaining its historic significance. Roger checked us in and made sure our múltiple stays there went smoothly. He took such great care of us we felt it was home. Our guide Julio met us in the lobby at the exact time we were scheduled and took us to see all the great sites in the city. His knowledge and demeanor was truly top notch for that tour and the next day tour of the Sacred Valley. I truly hope anyone that does this experience gets him as their guide. Make sure not to skip out on Pisac and Ollantaytambo.
The next morning the punctual transfer again picked us up on time and drove us to the train station in Poroy for the best train ride to Aguas Callientes. I highly recommend you take the Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu. We did take the Vistadome on the way back which was its own experience. We were taken to the bus to the Citadel upon arrival and bags taken from our train by the hotel reps waiting for us on arrival. When we got to the top the company had a representative waiting there to make sure we were connected with our guide for Route 2. Her name was Alexa and she was a wonderful person and showed us some amazing things that even a history buff like myself was amazed by. We were lucky to have her for the next day for Route 3 and Hyuana Picchu Mountain. It was the most amazing hike I’ve had the privilege to do. It is steep but breathtaking. At the top I handed my camera to Alexa and she took the most amazing pictures as I proposed to my now Fiancée. I never told her and she caught the moment in film forever.
I am a perfectionist and very hard to please. We could not have done or asked for anything better. I will always use this company for travels moving forward as they have earned my trust. I hope for whoever read this you do the same.

The perfect tour!
This tour was perfect! It was extremely well organized from the initial email contact to the airport drop off and everything in between. The day trips were all very interesting and our guides were excellent. Special shoutout to Alex our guide in Cusco and the Sacred Valley - thank you for sharing your knowledge and being so friendly and adaptable, and our driver Brian for looking after us. The Monasterio Hotel and Hiram Bingham train were also highlights. I really can’t recommend this tour highly enough.

Diana was extremely helpful from the start to the completion of our trip to Ecuador and Peru. We especially appreciated how quickly they helped adjust our Rainbow Mountain excursion to a South Valley tour when one member of our group was dealing with altitude sickness. Their flexibility and fast support turned a potential problem into a wonderful day.
The guides and drivers throughout the trip were excellent—friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to our guide Romy, who was fantastic and made our time in Peru even more memorable.
