I had such a wonderful experience at Manchester School of Modelling! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported, and the whole experience was so enjoyable and professional.

A special thank you to Naomi, who did my makeup absolutely beautifully. She really listened to what I wanted and created a look that made me feel confident and camera-ready while still feeling like myself. I was so happy with the final result!

The photographer was also amazing. I honestly had no idea what to do or how to pose in front of the camera, but she made me feel completely comfortable and guided me through every pose. She showed me exactly how to position myself and gave me great direction throughout the shoot, which made the whole experience feel so much easier and more natural.

Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend Manchester School of Modelling to anyone who wants to try a professional photoshoot, especially if you’re nervous or inexperienced like I was. The team made me feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful from start to finish. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

I had a wonderful time, right from the get go the MSM were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and encouraging, she made me feel at ease about opening up the possibility for this experience. I absolutely loved being photographed by Dee, utterly professional and friendly and warm to help me familiarise with the studio and surroundings. Make up and hair are world class too.I would definitely do this again.

Been a fantastic afternoon at Manchester school of modelling. Amazing staff, made me feel very welcome and at ease. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking at getting a portfolio or just wanting a photo shoot. Dee the photographer was always paying close attention to the details and shots.
Myself especially liked doing the formal wear shoot. A great confidence booster too.

I was dubious at first but not new to industry. From the first moment the professionalism was amazing. The photo shoot was amazing.extremely skilled.in fact best I have come across. Everyone was encouraged to shine.

I can’t praise Manchester School of Modelling enough. I want to get into mature modelling at 63 which is definitely out if my comfort zone, but all the staff are so welcoming and positive. All they want is for you to succeed. Every step was explained fully. The actual photoshoot was such a great experience and Georgia the photographer was just amazing, she put me at ease straight away and the photos were just amazing, she has a natural flare definitely. Katie my model consultant is excellent. If you are thinking about signing up you will not be left disappointed!

After my 1st visit to some I have been back several times and each time it gets better and better. From walking in and meeting the receptionist was made so welcome.
Right moving on 1 have done 5 modelling classes and each time it gets better and better the staff are amazing and awesome made to fell so welcome each class I leaned so much from talking how to stand, and walk, I would recommend this company to anyone who wants to start to model career.
OK modelling classes are 1st two Thursdays of every month, what can I say I have met some amazing now friends here. We have now got a great group who turn up and have a great time, on Thursdays night the staff are

From beginning to end, the experience for my daughter was very professional and she didn't feel nervous at all. She had a lovely makeover, hair and make up, then a photo shoot after. The whole team were so friendly, they couldn't do enough for you! Made my daughter feel and look like Britain's next top model! 😊 Thank you to all the team for giving her a great experience.

Amazing staff, very friendly and motivational. Brian is too good for bringing out the best pose from you infront of a camera. Bella just brings that confidence and motivation and Adrian a brilliant videographer. The entire team is so talented and helpful.

Very friendly people, easy to get on with felt very comfortable and welcomed as I have stayed here.

Genuinely never come here if you want to get into modelling, they make out that the photoshoot is free for you but it’s not. after your shoot they will try to get you to sign into a finance agreement with them. DO NOT DO THIS OR SIGN ANYTHING. They are a bunch of scammers and after you sign your contract they leave you in the dark. it’s just to pressure you into signing stuff so they can make money from you. do not go here .

hello as you can see they responded to my message, I asked if i could think about getting into a financial agreement with them i was told that my photos would be deleted if i didnt pay right there, in a room alone with chantelle. they pray on people who want their photos and this “school” that they say they are is total crap. after I signed they left me in the dark and stopped contact with me. they are a bunch of scam artists. do not go to these scammers and do not listen to what they have to say. AVOID. also they advertise it as free with “giveaway” and that you “won a free shoot” it’s not free and they want you you to think that they are giving you a “deal” absolutely crap please avoid i beg.

They are genuinely scammers please never go to this place. they also said i has to pay a 29 pound deposit which would be refunded to me after i show up to the shoot. this 29 pounds has not been refunded to me and they are con artist scammers. this is genuinely fraud. Never go to this place ever. i was told it would be refunded to me after I turned up and they won’t even respond to my emails asking for my money back. they are low life con artists scammers who don’t hold to their word and you are better off going somewhere where they won’t scam you.

I won a free shoot and didn’t really know what to expect. Was made to feel completely at home from the get go. Great experience even for someone that doesn’t do things like this

Slightly bitter-sweet experience...

I was booked for a 'test shoot' after being accepted as a potential candidate for mature modelling work based on an image submitted via a Facebook ad. I paid a £29 booking fee and attended for my test shoot - to assess whether I had confidence in front of the camera and 'potential' (as I have never done anything like this before).

The test shoot was fun and all the staff were really kind and professional. I was there for about 3.5 hours in total. I definitely had a good experience of what a professional photo shoot is like - having never done one before. I was photographed in 3 outfits and the photographer put me at ease and was very professional.

I then received feedback and went through the images with the 'sales-person'. This is where it got a bit difficult for me. I received amazing feedback that I had great potential and the pictures were very impressive (though digitally enhanced). I was then presented with a menu of purchase options to move forward ranging from £600 - £5000 to either purchase a small number of images - right through to the full set - portfolio with regular support from the 'Coordinator' follow up shoots and various options in-between. I had 2 issues here:
1 - I think this should have been explained right at the start before booking a shoot - it felt a little deceptive to withhold this information until after the shoot.
2 - It was explained that I would need to purchase the images, or one of the packages there and then, (or on a credit scheme) otherwise they would be deleted and lost (due to confidentiality and data protection). Though I was told I could come back and do another shoot if I wanted to go away and think about it - which is what I did. Again - this felt a bit pressured and it was hard not to conclude it could all just be an elaborate sales tactic...It also made me question how objective / useful was the feedback if it's motivated by a lucrative sale.

I would definitely recommend going to MSOM for a professional shoot if you want some excellent professional images taking for marketing, social media or a portfolio - if the pricing / packages are known in advance. But as a 'test shoot' for an aspiring model it is hard not to feel a bit deceived. Don't get me wrong - it could be worth it - if it leads into a successful career. But I am doing a bit more research into the industry and these types of companies before committing to any significant financial outlay.

The staff were so welcome and made me feel confident. The photos were soo lovely and the experience was exciting, being able to put my own music on the speaker to hype myself up. The makeup artist was lovely, but didn’t do makeup that I would say accentuated my features but I still think the photos turned out amazing. I can’t wait to come back and work with you all again.

They have done a great favour, I love there photos and it was amazing just a piece of art, I will recommend everyone to pick them as as your portfolio makers

Lovely friendly staff, makeup done with a great member of staff, studio space is great lots of different lighting techniques and friendly supportive camera lady!
