We stayed at the Busby Hotel where my son and his new wife were married and celebrated with family and friends.
I cant rate the hotel highly enough for their staff, facilities and food.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and couldn`t do enough for the guests.
The hotel rooms and facilities were fabulous and the wedding food was delicious.
My son and his new wife both said " It was fantastic and they wouldn`t have changed anything about their special day"
Thank you so much to everyone involved in the day!

We booked for a family dinner at the Redhurst and would not recommend this place as we left very disappointed:

- drinks service was slow or non-existent at times
- various drinks and food on menu no longer available
- food was bland and lukewarm
- mains took over 2 hours to be served

We had our wedding at the Lynnhurst hotel in Johnstone and would definitely not recommend it , food was poor , jacuzzi in bridal suite was broken, worst thing we done was accept their offer of the use of their postbox , however as we were going to our room we were approached by a cleaner with a carrier bag which contained the contents of the postbox, which she found on top of the bar , when we went thru the cards money was missing from quite a few cards. And after numerous complaints and conversations with manorview they refused to take responsibility for this . I strongly suggest to anyone thinking of holding their special day here look elsewhere.

Went to hotel for family dinner service was poor and food was more like pub standards

Wedding Party- Beautiful outside entrance and that's all.The food was atrocious. Starter was terrible - some cheap frozen prawns slapped on the plate with marie rose sauce. No choice so if you didn't like seafood then you were left with no starter. The main course was terrible - the vegetables inedible as they seemed to have been microwaved to death as they were rock solid, carots were like rubber.Chicken was very dry , portion like for my 6 years old son. Dessert- no choice, you could only get profiterole, absolutely horrible, defrosted , cream sour inside and soggy outside.
Overall, the communication, clarity and professionalism of the hotel was awful. We experienced deplorable service from the staff - not one spoke while serving, none showed any interest in time-keeping.The staff kept interaction to a minimum.
Evening service very chaotic. Staff rude and unprofessional. Be careful when ordering alcoholic drinks as they seem to be forgetting to add alcohol to soft drinks.
If you have booked hotel room with check in on the same day of the wedding be prepared for not being allowed into your room after wedding ceremony. We could not leave our bags in the room before ceremony and staff asked us to leave them next to staircase-a completely insecure place right in the middle of entrance hall where everyone had access to.
The overall impression was that this was a place out to make money out of wedding parties, not offer a good service. Look further and find a person centred venue.
I have to rate this place as the worst run in Scotland I have come across - pretty surroundings are not enough to create a special day. Not what you expect from this grade of hotel won't be rushing back anytime soon.
