Amazing guy! Super lovely and respectful

We were on a work trip to Albufeira and wanted a relaxed private boat trip for 28 people. The main challenge was finding a private boat large enough for our group, and after chatGPT'ing as you do, It flagged Cheeky Butler Albufeira would be perfect for what we wanted.

I looked at their website and the £80 per person package looked perfect and exactly what we were looking for.

Before booking, I specifically asked in writing whether the trip included:

• Transfers
• Open bar
• Stops at the caves
• Swimming stops

I received an email stating:

"Yes includes all the items detailed on your email."

and

"The pack includes as you mention, stop for swimming, caves visit, open vodka, wine, beer and soft drinks."

I also received WhatsApp messages confirming:

"We include wine beer vodka and soft drinks"

and

"And we will go to see caves."

Based on those confirmations, we paid over £2,200 for the trip.

When we arrived, we were immediately told beer wasn't included in our package, despite it being confirmed multiple times before payment. In total were then given what amounted to a bottle of vodka, a bottle of white wine, some Fanta and some 7Up for a group of 28 adults, how on earth that's 'open bar' i'll never know.

We tried to put that aside and enjoy ourselves anyway.

About 30 minutes into the trip we asked which caves we would be visiting and were told we would not be visiting any caves at all.

The whole reason many of us booked the trip was to see the caves.

When I challenged this, the boat operator told me:

"The information we have is for a 3hrs party boat. coastal cruise. And the 3hrs its not enough time to see the caves."

So despite being promised cave visits before booking, the boat operator was telling us that the trip we had actually been booked onto was never capable of visiting them. (which is exactly what is showed on their website)

I complained whilst on the boat, spoke directly with the office during the excursion, and sent screenshots of all the messages confirming what had been sold to us.

When I returned home, I submitted a formal complaint and provided all of the evidence again, including emails and WhatsApp messages.

What has shocked me most is not the disappointing trip itself, but the complete refusal to take responsibility afterwards.

The same person who originally confirmed the cave visit, swimming stops, beer, wine, vodka and soft drinks later denied responsibility and refused any refund or compensation whatsoever. The complaint was dismissed on the basis that I should have completed a complaint form at the office, despite the fact that the complaint was raised during the excursion and one of my colleagues later went to the office only to find it closed.

I have never experienced anything like it.

We paid over £2,200 for a trip that was materially different from what was promised, and when presented with clear written evidence, the response was simply: "No refund."

Make of that what you will.

From beginning to end Marbella hen do were fantastic. I organised a boat trip for my friend’s hen and the experience was perfect. The communication was fantastic, all my queries were answered quickly and it was easy to book. The actual boat trip was amazing, excellent service on board and we all had a great time. The staff were very good and helpful and the boat was superb. 10/10 highly recommend using for a hen do.

I booked with Jose at Marbellahendo for my best friends hen party (24 girls in total) and it was out of this world. Jose was so efficient and was more than happy to answer any questions or queries I had. We booked a number of events with Jose (BBQ with a DJ, private boat party, saxophonist, private paella chef, champagne breakfast and a stripper) and it was 100% worth the money. All of the staff that came to our villa were so lovely and polite, we couldn’t have asked for more. Finding a company that done it all was so easy and stress free, I would definitely recommend marbellahendo for anyone looking to book a fun abroad hen party. Thank you again! :)

We have booked this summer another private boat party for my sister´s in law and has been again awesome and really nice. The catamaran booked in Estepona with captain Mike and the team was amazing. Also Jose from the booking team, help us with all the issues and changes done.

I’m incredibly frustrated and disappointed with this company. I specifically asked two separate times whether my child under 1 year old would be allowed to board the catamaran, and I was assured each time that it would be fine. Based on this information, I booked and paid a deposit.

Now, just before the trip, they’ve suddenly changed their policy and are saying children under 2 are not allowed – a completely different rule from what I was told. This is entirely their mistake, yet they’re refusing to refund my deposit.

It’s unacceptable to mislead customers like this, especially when they’ve double- and triple-checked to avoid issues. Their customer service has been unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility for their own error.

If you’re considering booking with them, don’t – especially if you have young children or want reliable communication. I won’t be using them again.

We had the pleasure of speaking with Jose to organise a boat for my sisters hen party in Marbella. He was amazing, responses were very quick and if I ran into problems with final numbers he would come up with a solution 🙂 the boat party was the highlight of our trip, the service was amazing we had a host called Petey who was fantastic, helping everyone anyway he could! The music was great and we could request songs to be played. Overall the experience was amazing from start to finish and I would highly recommend them for anyone with large groups, parties, stags or hens! Thank you for everything guys ✨

The team onboard were very helpful, we had our own bbq and food which was really nice and the music was really good, thanks team for making it such a great day for our Bride to be.

We booked a 2 hour private charter in Puerto Banus this weekend and the whole process was seamless!
Jose and Jorge very helpful with booking and providing all the details we needed. Our time was changed due to the weather however we completely trusted the team and didn’t want to be seasick due to the windy conditions. I would definitely recommend booking for any hen do!
