Top-quality maincrop potato
High yields of red-skinned tubers
A good all-rounder in the kitchen
Excellent disease resistance
Best choice for Blight-Resistance
Potato ‘Java’ is a top-quality maincrop potato, producing high yields of long red-skinned tubers with tasty white flesh. A good all-rounder in the kitchen, it’s great for roasting, mashing and baking and has excellent disease resistance, making it a great choice for home gardeners.
This variety is a NEW improved version of Sarpo Mira, bred from 'Sarpo Mira' and 'Valor.' Both of which have exceptional resistance to blight, meaning 'Java' is you best defence against late blight. Plus getting drought and heat resistant properties from 'Valor'.
