Measurements were accurate and color was good. The issues I had were shipping and packaging. The cardboard within the wrapping wasn’t very stiff or supportive. And there wasn’t any marking as fragile... Voir plus

High quality, great price, outstanding customer service
Designed a custom mat with frame for a cross stitch piece a friend made. High quality materials. Colors exactly as depicted on the web site. Great price. Quick shipping. Had issues with delivery -- not Matboard's fault (UPS had trouble with the address). Customer service was outstanding -- responded immediately and corrected the issue quickly. I've used Matboard and More multiple times over the years to mat and frame photos and textiles and will continue to do so in the future.

Great Products Great Service
I needed custom cut mats for a feature wall in my home.
The site was super easy to use, and gives advice on proper sizing of custom mats. It made the process quick and easy. The cost for a custom cut mat on quality board was the best I could find, and shipping was super fast.
One note for when you order, when choosing a color other than bright white make sure the screen your viewing the colors on is accurate. If it's off the hue of the mat may not be to your liking, this isn't a knock on the company just a reality of the online world.

Confusing Ordering Process and No Returns. Also, typically you can find cheaper prices elsewhere.
In one day, I ordered 3 frames in two separate orders. The first was a standard poster size and the other two I customized the sizes to fit an artist's photographs that I wanted to frame. I noticed the prices were much higher than the same frame sizes on Amazon, but I wanted to support a non-Amazon company and my mom said this was a good company. When my frames arrived only two had plexiglass. I wanted to return the one without plexi, but I was told I couldn't. They said I should have known it came without plexi. But I didn't know! And from my perspective, I did the SAME THING when I ordered three frames, but only two came the way I wanted. The ordering process is baffling to me. I was NOT made clear enough to me that I couldn't do returns. Also, I paid a lot more than I needed to. The new frame (WITH plexi) that I ordered is approximately half the price of what Matboard and More charged me for a frame with NO plexi. This company is confusing and inflexible. I'd recommend NOT using it if you can get a frame the size you want anywhere else.

After carefully reviewing your order and our correspondence, we confirmed that your frame was manufactured and shipped exactly as it was configured during checkout. Our frame builder allows customers to choose the components they would like to include in their setup, including their preferred plexiglass and backing board. Because we offer multiple plexiglass and backing board options, these components are individually selected and are only included when chosen as part of the frame configuration.
We understand that ordering a custom-built frame differs from purchasing a pre-assembled retail frame, and we're sorry if that wasn't as clear as it could have been. Feedback like yours helps us continue improving the customer experience.
We'd also like to clarify one important point for anyone reading this review: the frame was not missing any components. It was manufactured and shipped exactly as configured during checkout.
When you contacted us, our team promptly reviewed your order, explained the frame configuration, and provided guidance on obtaining the correct plexiglass for your frame. We're always happy to help customers before, during, and after their purchase to ensure they receive the setup that's right for their project.
Regarding returns, because this frame was custom made to the specifications selected during checkout, it falls under our Custom Products Policy and is not eligible for return.

If I could give it a zero I would. My
mat arrived damaged in 3 places. The shipping box had a large dent . I want a replacement but the only option offered to me was a refund through PayPal or Venmo, which I do not use. Very disappointed with this product.

The clean lines and willingness to adjust and provide alternatives were a big plus.
I was disappointed that I bought prints according to the size provided on the mock up, only to learn that they were in fact the next size up, costing me more in time and print fees.

Low quality, cheap frame
The mat board and service were great! The $120+ frame was cheap at best… would’ve been better off getting one from Walmart for 1/3 of the price.
