You are rushing the customer and…
You are rushing the customer and putting pressure on them to buy a car. It would be better to let them choose at their own pace and look at the cars they are interested in. If they decide to contact you, you can then provide them with all the information they need. Pressuring someone to buy a car when they are not interested is not the right approach.

We are sorry to see that you feel the decision was unfair.
We work with a large panel of lenders and try to help customers across a wide range of circumstances. However, finance cannot be guaranteed in every case, as each lender applies its own eligibility, affordability and underwriting requirements.
Where an application does not meet the minimum criteria available at that time, the decision is made by the lender rather than Match Me Car Finance. We appreciate that this can be disappointing, particularly when the outcome is not what you had hoped for.

Misleading by telling you you’ve been approved, not in principle or pre approved but approved, only then once open banking done, declined.
There is no communication amongst themselves as numerous people phoned me.

We are sorry to read your review and appreciate why the outcome may have felt confusing.
To clarify, an approval was obtained from a finance lender based on the information available at that stage. Lenders may then carry out further checks before finalising the agreement, including reviewing bank statements, income and affordability. If the lender changes its decision following those checks, this is a decision made by the lender rather than Match Me Car Finance.
We have also noted your comments regarding the number of calls you received and the communication between team members. Your review has been passed to our Complaints Team so the circumstances can be reviewed properly.
